Potter picks UA-Little Rock (BY Tom Miller - GF Herald)

Former Grand Forks Red River pitcher Sean Potter has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Division I Arkansas-Little Rock.

Potter, a 6-foot-6 right-hander, went 3-2 with a 3.38 ERA at Muscatine Junior College (Iowa) in 2007.

“Sean is long and lanky,” Little Rock coach Jim Lawler said. “He has got the pro-type body scouts are looking for. Everything is in front of him. He's got a bright future and may end up being the best pro prospect out of the bunch once he puts it all together.”

At Red River, Potter was 6-0 with a 1.07 ERA as a senior in 2006.

Little Rock, which went 21-31 last season, competes in the Sun Belt Conference.

Congrats to Sean!
I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?
