What you guys think about Elgie.  He put up the best numbers in a reginal tourney, That is insane.

Hats off to Minot for a great showing in the Region!  What a great run year after year for that group, all the way back to 11 and 12 year old Cal Ripken teams.  Always the team in ND to beat.  Hope to see Elgie and Lundy in the Bigs some day!

Eden Prairie, MN won the Central Plains Tournament.  They went 4-0.

Eden Prairie, Minnesota beat Plover, Wisconsin 10-2 this morning for the spot in the World Series in Oklahoma that starts this Friday, August 24th.

Here's the World Series Day 1 Schedule :

9:30 am - Branford, CT vs. Bellingham, WA 

12:30 pm - Eden Prairie, MN vs. Tucson, AZ

4:30 pm - Columbia, TN vs. Apple Valley, MN

7:30 pm - Boyertown, PA vs. Bryant, AR

minnesota sends two teams to regionals (one to the central plains, one to the great lakes region). so if theres two teams there, that means both teams won their regional tournament. hats off to the two minnesota teams.

Im pretty sure that they didnt have a tourny mvp.  But i hered that if they did he would have got it.

exactly....hitting a homerun in jack brown wouldve just been amazing for me.  that field has like a whole history of north dakota baseball so if i could hit one in the metrodome would be the ultimate haha

Apple Valley is pretty darn good i bet they are better than Eden Prarie they are probly one of the teams to beat at the series

Eden Prairie won their first game of the World Series beating Tucson, AZ 19-6 and are currently ahead of Boyertown, PA 6-0
