SHS said the exact point though all that really matters is the home-stretch and how well you play in EDC.

don't try to talk up yourself or your team. you don't want to turn in to another keepinitreal

Out of Jamestown, Ian Hogan, a junior, will be starting at 1st base next year and he has been hitting with the best of them this summer on there legion team. Also watch for Zec Tahran to have about 30 stolen bases for sure.

Zac tehran is fast yes but he wont have more than 15 i dont think because when we played him he was going as soon as he got on and with wood bats more teams are apt to pitch out the first or second pitch which will make it really tough for him

even if teams pitch out there is still a good chance that he will steal the base. he just that fast

no no see i am not that good of a catcher and i have thrown him out wothout pitching out so when a team does pitch out it is going to be a lot harder to take that base no matter how fast you are

how well does tehran hit?  cuz you have to be on base to steal bases

Little birdie says Red River could lose more than one baseball player to Junior Hockey before baseball season starts.

vc shouldn't be that bad this year they didn't lose anyone and they have been playin a couple freshman and working on the 8th graders, and they have a lot of good talent, stearns at second, jensen at the mound , and johnson at the mound also at center field, they need to work on hitting a little bit then they be a very fun team to watch!

They didnt lose anyone from a team that didnt win a conference game. I agree they will be improved and could win some games against a Wahpeton if tollefson doesnt throw, GF Central, Devils Lake if Greene doesnt throw, and maybe shanley if jagim doesnt throw.

west fargo too ;-). just playing steckler. the last 2 years theyve won a total of maybe 5 games legion and high school combined. i dont see them winning more than 8 games this year unless their schedule is loaded with average level class b teams. chances are those teams you listed luke wont be throwing those pitchers against valley city. tollefson (i thought he was a senior last year??), greene and jagim will be saved for the conference games against red river, south, north, etc.

Thats exactly right and I dont think Valley City has much of a chance unless they throw their ace, and it depends how they want to manage then. Save your stud for the best teams or pitch him in games where you feel you have a better chance of winning.

The bottem line is if you cant beat a little above average B team how in the heck do you expect to do good in A ball, and if i am remembering correctly we were on our 4th or 5th pitcher in the depth chart because we had a tourny starting the next day

It really makes yourself look bad when the season hasn't even started yet and your talking about how bad people and their teams are.

Umm i really dont care how i look for the fact that i speak the truth and no longer am affiliated with and HS or legion team, and what am going to do with some guys first post basicall saying watch out for a team that has won maybe 10 games in the last 3-4 years, with my title being vetern preper or all pro or somthing i am going to voice my opinion and tell him like it is no bs!

looking for Red River, South, Shanley, and North ( just beacuse they always seem to make it to state ) to come out of the east - not seeing to much upset potential either due to lack of depth on staffs

- RR could have a different ending though if those players go to hockey

I would say Shanley and North have a lack of depth on their staffs, especially when it comes to quality, experienced arms. North has Larson who is a legit ace, but can be wild. who else do you see throwing well for them? Shanley has Jagim as the ace and Frappier has pitched at the varsity level. Swanson over-pitched Jagim and Sand so much last year they were shot by EDC. Who do you see as their other pitchers?

South's rotation is set with Rusch, Edland, Kingsley, and probably Noriega. The same thing with Red River's top 3 of Kraft, Howe, and Bancroft, which will not be effected by the hockey guys. Even if they leave, they will be a top 4 team in the EDC. Anyone from there know who would replace Meland at SS and Ladeucer's (sp?) line-up spot?
