Exactly.  You could conceivably lose a game but still record all the outs by strikeouts.  My guess would be it has happened quite often nationwide.  There are always going to be opportunities for mismatches, Minot vs Belcourt for example, fortunately most coaches don't throw their top pitchers against weak teams.

The Bismarck Govs have been hitting the snot out of the ball lately 25 and 20 hits in back to back days vs. Mandan, very impressive.

It will be interesting to see how Williston does vs. Rapid City Post 22 on Sun. as well.

Fargo no-hit GF in the first game of a doubleheader winning 3-2.  Kingsley went  6 2/3 innings before getting relief help for the last out.

Fargo only had 2 hits against Kreis.  Pitchers for both teams had trouble with walks in the late innings as mound conditions deteriorated as the game was played in a steady rain.

The rain quit for game 2.  GF pounded out 12 hits winning 10-7.  Sadler and Galbreath each had 3 hits for GF.  W- Kraft, L- Jagim

GF is now 10-2 in league and leads the East.

fargo swept jamestown tonight and bismarck swept west fargo tonight as well. west fargo got rocked both games. 11 runs in the top of the first of the first game is always a good way to start off a double header. wouldnt you agree steckler?

What is the latest on Lundy?  Is he joining the Vistas for the playoffs or state?

not looking like he'll be back in time. his team in canada is most likely going to win their first round series and play into the week of state. it would probably be a step or two back for him if he did come back to play for minot.

thats the league site that he is playing in.
