EDC GAME SCORES & STORIES

Postby Willy » Sat Apr 14, 2007 7:12 am

Thought it would be a good idea to have a thread for just for EDC game scores and reports.  Please report scores, game reports,  or post newspaper stories about games only!  Please do not use this thread for comments and opinions, just game facts.   There are plenty of other places to post opinions.

in my varsity experience, that was the worst game Shanley has ever played. absolutely no excuses for that game. we stunk and deserve to be laughed at for that performance.
I never blame myself when I'm not hitting. I just blame the bat and if it keeps up, I change bats. After all, if I know it isn't my fault that I'm not hitting, how can I get mad at myself?

GF Red River 5-7,Valley City 0-3

Grand Forks Red River improved to 3-1 in the East Region with a sweep of Valley City on Thursday night at Kraft Field.

Keith Howe was the winning pitcher for the Roughriders in the opener. Charlie Miller went 2-for-4 at the plate, while Andy Sadler went 1-for-1 and scored two runs.

Sadler and Miller keyed the Riders' win in the second game.

Both had two hits.

Valley City dropped to 0-4.

Shanley didn't out play North.  North had double digits in pass balls and wild pitches.  Sand did have a good game, but North still put (3 or 4?) runs up while batting horrible.

I think North played all backups for the second game and won 7-0.  Shanley might have as well.

if north had all those pass balls and wild pitches, wouldn't that mean they played worse than shanley?  Therefore, shanley did outplay them?

No, I know enderson started the game at catcher and tollefson on the hill, talking to someone Enderson came in in the 6th or 7th and tollefson went to catch. Enderson did go back and catch the 2nd game though too.
