Looks about right to me... Is South going to be that bad next season?

Bismarck High might not be too bad. They don't have an ace, but a lot of those same players had very good legion seasons last summer.

Bismarck High barely even had that many people playing legion.  Of the returning players on Legion they were mainly from St. Mary's and Century.

I stand corrected. I didn't get to see a lot of legion ball last summer, but I saw a ton of high school ball and I thought that Bismarck had some decent kids coming back.

Bismarck High has 3 returning players who played govs this summer.  St. Mary's only has 2 who played govs.  Bhs also returns 4 other starters besides them and with the editions of Drew Hendrickson from St. Mary's and Will Sherwin back from being in Germany they should be strong.  We have enough pitching with Brandon Solemsaas, Matt Kranzler, Justin Connell, Jon Hausauer and Tyler Johnson.  But it just depends on how well the pitching does.  Minot is the clear cut favorite with Lundy, Elgie, Hornecker, Gathman, and Martinson.

Also Williston won't have their best hitter Tyler Liffrig for most of the season with shoulder surgery so who knows how they'll do.  St. Marys returns a lot of players but the only question I have is their lineup.  Century will return Zach Wentz, Chris and Dustin Wenzel and Alex Allen.  They will struggle a little bit with pitching, but Wentz will be the #1 and Allen will be #2 pitchers.  Dickinson returns quite of few players, they have an awesome shortstop in Cole Frenzel and they do have a good lefty pitcher in Kyle Schroeder.

Ming do you have any word on if Matt Loomis is playing high school baseball or if he is going to do golf because I heard he might do just golf?

He might try and do both.  If not then he's just gonna play baseball.

I believe in the West, besides Minot, the teams are pretty evenly matched. Dickinson returns some good players in Cole Frenzle and Kyle Schroeder. St.Marys will have some good pitching in Torey Bohan and Matt Loomis, but their hitting won't be too great. Williston should be decent, but will hurt losing Liffrig (Their Best Hitter). Century should be great defensively with Wentz, The Wenzel's, Gesellechan, and Geinert. Mandan should have some good pitching but they will lack in hitting. Bismarck lost a lot of starters but pitching wise they should be ok with Solemsaas,Kranzler, and Hausauer. It will be a tight race in the West with the exception of Minot.

Kyle Carr was not all that BHS had last year.  They also had very good seasons out of Matt Kranzler, Clark Dingeman and Josh Silvernagel.  Yes Carr was a major part, but he wasn't the team.  Josh Standing Elk and Josh Silvernagel also pitched pretty well last year.

1. Minot (most talent and depth, best arms)
2. Dickinson (young up-and-coming team)
3. Bismarck High (returns a lot of talent from a state runner-up team)
4. Williston (no Liffrig or Erickson will hurt)
5. St. Mary's (Ming says they're the real deal)
6. Century (didn't impress me last season)
7. Mandan (lost some decent players)
8. Beulah (don't know much about them, but they do have a lot of good athletes)
9. Belcourt (don't know much about them)
