Yeah I agree, not enough people are giving Dickinson credit, I see them finishing top 3 in WDA.

Yeah maybe if their ego's don't get in the way, someone needs to remind the Dickinson players that a baseball cap faces forward and not sideways.

i find it interesting that in the east jamestown is considered to be as high as second and as low as second to last. are they that kind of 'hot or cold', 'all or nothing' team?

Dickinson may be good in the future but I think they just have too much young talent.  Need a year to mature and gain experience at the varsity level.  It's a big jump from jv to varsity.  No easy outs in the batting order anymore.

Same thing with Jamestown, I think the talent they have is just too young and a year away from being a serious threat.

Considering they have like almost everyone back from last years varsity team.  I believe they have the most back out of anyone in wda.

Jamestown can be a good team if they play consistently. They have alot of seniors who have been playing varsity for awhile now.  There staff is good, if they limit errors they will be pretty solid.  Look for strong mound showings by Shane Shoenberg and Andrew Lick.  The bats will be there and they are spread pretty easily throughout the lineup.  But then again, this is if they play to potential.

Who has the most talent coming back, Dickinson?  If so, I would sure like you to name this talent by position in the field and in the batting order.

I think that is a very accurate assessment of Jamestown's ballclub this spring.

I agree with kpuck34, I realize Ming01 feels they are the team to beat now, maybe next year is my general feeling as well.

I didn't say they were the team to beat.  Im just saying no one is giving them enough credit.

Having people back is a good thing but it does not guarantee success, give them another year then let's talk.

They probably won't even be as good next year as they will be this year.

What is Cole Frenzel? A Freshman or Sophomore? He will just keep getting better.

We have only a few days until the "show" begins, all the posturing will be over. I personally can not wait, the proof will be in the pudding. God do I sound old.
