RED RIVER 7 MINOT 1
Chris Compton and Jarrett Galbreath combined to allow only five hits as Grand Forks Red River won two games Friday in Minot. Red River beat Medicine Hat-Notre Dame 10-0 in the first game as Compton pitched a one-hitter, striking out seven. Eric Meland, Charlie Miller and Tim Conneran had two hits apiece for the Roughriders. Galbreath pitched a four-hitter as Red River downed Minot 7-1 in the second game. Austin Salyer's three-run triple sparked a four-run fourth inning that gave the 15-2 Riders a 6-1 lead.
