top teams for 2010 season

I want to know what everyone thinks about next years season, some thoughts on who will be the top 5 teams in the state

It's so hard to decide with alot of teams graduating but if i had to pick...
Bismark High and West Fargo at the top
Then I think Red River will actually have a good team next year, I think they have some good starters coming back. Other than that I don't have any predictions for other teams that I can't make judgments on.

red river returns 2 starters on offense and 2 on defense i believe. they lose a lot but i think they have some good skilled kids coming up with some mop up experience. the two offensive returning players are on the line which should help.

I see the east dominating this next year there are alot of ppl graduating that were vital to their teams in the west. The big schools that can reload should have their way with the west. Idk who is all returning for players in the east so help me out a little if stuff is off

I threw mandan out there cause I know they have a number of juniors returning that made a splash. And Bismarck yes they have some talent in those lower classes but that defense is getting gutted. The linebackers are out of there. Look who they are graduating Kruger, Winkels, Thornton, Jake Miller, Skye Miller, Joliffe, Pascua, and a few others that were huge in making that team as dominating as they have been. There is no question that there is a significant drop off in talent there. Another West power, Century is losing major players. Players that have been the back bone of the team the last few years and doesnt seem to have much waiting in the ranks. Minot had a big senior class. Williston is short key players and if they had ppl that could have produced should have used them. Dickinson is middle of the road and might be a competive force in the coming year

How can you say south at #1??? they lose half their kids? I would consider that a "significant drop"

I believe South lost half their kids from the soph on down. Next year Davies oldest players will be Juniors.

Regardless they lose alot of depth because of what i heard Davies takes the "better half of those juniors" i think its hard to put south at #1

south will still be good like usual they will have good expirence from the seniors next year

1. Bismark- good every year, always has kids to replace starters from year before.
2. West Fargo- I like their senior class, Have good speed playmakers on offense
3. South- I don't like having south this high because they won't have their numbers like years past( davies will have team next year), but I can't see a team being higher.
4. North- I like the coach there and have some play makers. (but defense might hurt them)
5. Mandan- I really have no clue about the rest of the west or Mandan, but from what I've seen they have some good talent, and they work hard with a heavily junior class last year so just making a guess.

Just guessing, no one really knows yet

i would have to agree with people who say south will drop. i mean most of their offense and defense were seniors and they will lose alot of depth with davies. i think it is going to be a tough year for south

how many teams does fargo have?

Davies will only be comprised of Junior, Sophmore and Freshman classes this next year is what we were told. They will essentially have a JV team and the Juniors from last year that will be seniors will still be Bruins.
