All conference

The teams in Class AAA

All conference

Postby Wild Wolves » Fri Oct 23, 2009 9:17 am

I noticed the East all conference list on the tribune web site but the athletes are listed by team rather than position can someone post a list by position. Or is there like 6 AC RB's?

he broke his thumb btw and the last couple weeks he padded his cast up and played with pins still in and Wednesday he had 2 sacks and one forced fumble... I guess he is just that good to miss a couple weeks and come back and make the all conf team.

Any chance someone can lay this out by positions for someone without a clue. I know a few based on stats from a another thread but how about defense and o-line?

4 QB's-Jorgenson, King, Larson, Bangs

Don't think thats right, King isn't that good and Larson split with O'Neal which IMO is better than Larson.
Jorgenson is decent but has a poor TD/INT ratio and don't know much about Bangs.
I'm just surprised Bosch didn't get all conference

I pretty sure Larson was named for his defensive prowess not his qbing skills.

Kind of diminishes the honor if 4 out of 6 QB's are named or any other position for that matter.

West at QB
Thorton is the best but Nadeu and Kartes had better stats. Hanson had big expectations and missed time with injuries so I am curious who will make it in the west. Really hope all four don't get it.

Gallagher is a decent player for Jamestown but i thought that the two interior defensive lineman for jamestown were better than the D ends...

All conference athletes are not picked based on position but by their athleticism/skill

not really. in fact I think your implying that to many AllCon is bad is wrong. what if Tebow,Clausen, McCoy were in the same conference? only 1 should be all-conf?

I could buy that if
1. Tebow was first team
2. McCoy was second team
3. Clausen could beat Navy, I mean honorable mention
4. No more room for QB's

Good to read some words of reason.

w2-i guess you don't get my point
if a>b
and b<c
but c>a

then a, b, c are all-conference

What if
a is squared
and b is cubed
but c is the square root of a???

Ok in your equation b shouldn't be AC because a and c are both better.

C is greater than A and
A is greater than B and
B is less than C so B can be honorable mention.

Water it down enough and if you play varsity FB you are AC

multiply both sides by zero.
give everyone a pre--season All conference award and then let them lose it through the year
