First of all, Esley and Hanson are the best, far and away.
Kovacs, IMO, is not a top 4 QB in the west

Let's be honest, arguing about the starting QB isn't going to change the outcome of that game.

Grand Forks Central is going to be a good test for Williston. It'll give them a chance to see how a young, inexperienced line will work. Williston still has some good returners (only a few) but they will be pretty solid IMO. I'm choosing Williston over Central in a very close game.

i don't care what anyone says jake miller is the best RB in the state in any class.... it is the 2nd quater right now and he already has 3 td's... if anyone knows what station it is on in fargo that would really help i can't find it in biz

This is in no way meant to disrespect Jake Miller, he is a dominant football player, but to say he is clearly the best running back in the state goes against what the top football school up here thinks. Now if NDSU gives Miller the same deal they gave Smith (full ride perhaps?) maybe you could convince me he is AS good. Remember smith doesnt have a supporting cast to make him look good, although at the same time has no one to take touches away.

Don't base how good a player is by what college recruiters think. They might see potential in Smith for the college game or something else, but right now the best RB in the state is Jake Miller.

this really is dumb. jake is so much better than smith. no disrespect to smith he is very good. but jake is ridiculos. i hope bohl was at that game in fargo and was like wow im an idiot for not recruting this kid. jake is going to get plenty of offers by the time the season is over.

i am not disrespecing smith in any way by saying this but here is my say on this matter... jake miller missed half of the track season due to injury... jake couldn't go to the ndsu camp because of injury.... jake broke his ankle his sophmore year... realize that these big time schools aren't recruiting people who they think is the best playin in high school right now... they are recruiting people who they think can be productive once they get their hands on them... now the as a recruiter you have to ask yourself do i want someone who has been throughout high school fairly injury prone and couldn't even come to our camp to try to get recruited because of injury... or do you want someone who you think you can turn into a very productive player down the road??? the argument that smith is a better player than jake solely because he was recruited by ndsu IMO is totally not relevent no who is a better player right now!

I wouldn't be surprised if NDSU offered Jake a schollie but since he couldn't make it the camp and such, any offer is probably going to have to wait until after the season.

there were two surprises IMO

Mandan shouldn't of beaten WF and I though Willeston would of taken care of Central easily

so watch out for the sleeper team this year Grand Forks Central
