Football Camps

Postby Thirty » Wed Apr 01, 2009 2:40 pm

I was wondering if going to Football Camps is worth the somewhat steep price, and if so, which ones are the best for us North Dakota kids to go to?

It all depends on what your goal is. If you are going to be a senior next year and you want to get your name out there, then go to NDSU's, Mary's, and UND's camps. There are tons of area college coaches that help out at those camps. Those camps are basically recruiting camps for the most part. They invite kids they want to see workout for a day and put up with the rest of the kids that paid money to have fun for a couple of days. They teach you basic fundamental things for each position and usually have some type of mini game session at the end of the day.
If you want to have fun, go with a buddy down to one of them. Heck, who knows, maybe someone will spot you and keep you on their radar for next years season. Hope this helps you out...

FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) is hosting their first annual football camp at Crystal Springs, July 20-22. A number of excellent coaches statewide will be working at the camp.

The line of scrimmage camp at VCSU is not the Phil Hanson Lineman camp but the line of scrimmage camp is by far the best bang for the buck I highly recomend it.
