I agree with plays4keeps, I think that Red River will work its way into the top of the east in 2009

yeah and red river had a lot of talented juniors who started last year. they seemed to have a lot of juniors that were really fast and i heard they have a huge sophomore lineman coming up

I know the lineman your talking about, I watched him play basketball down in Fargo recently and indeed your right he is a really big kid, and from the looks of it he can move pretty good too. It was really hard to believe that a 6'4'' 250 pound kid could only be a sophomore

Who do they all return?? I know they started 3 juniors for sure on there d-line. Not sure if the big guy was a senior or not. I didnt watch them much last year is there line or linebackers going to be something to watch out for? And who are their standout players?

fargo south will obviously be the best team in the east but i also think there will be teams that are going to be able to compete with south. i think west fargo, jamestown and red river could have a chance.

Red River has lots of talent and will be loaded with experienced seniors this year. They need to correct the coaching situation though. Sam King can throw the ball. Keep him in the pocket and don't move him around his recievers will do their job. Gefroh is an animal and will always be there also.

Fargo North this year will have a chance to upset teams like they did last year. People forget that they were 2nd in the EDC going into playoffs. And beat West Fargo only held a 7 point game to south until the last 4 min. The new head coach there is making a huge impact on the kids and the program. I dont say they are state champ material. But dont count them out of the running. They have 2 lineman that won the packer strength tourney in there wieghts and 3 big sophs coming up 6'4'' 230 each

My opinion is obviously biased playing for WF, but they will be decent next year.
The entire starting line on both sides will be seniors and some juniors, with people starting one way each. People could start both ways, but keeping fresh bodies in the game makes a difference. We have some size this year for a change for lineman which is always a plus.

However, no team is perfect and the fall of '09 is no exception. WF is lacking backs with size besides a couple of people.

I consider this comment to be a bit questionable. If i remember right in Fall of 2006 the south freshman were beaten by the red river freshman 56-0. The next year the same teams faced off in a sophomore game and South was again defeated. 8th grade huh? i guess they just skipped a few years

My thoughts are that south will be good as always but other than that it will mostly be a toss up for the rest... everyone rags on jamestown because it is jamestown but i think that they will be up there because of all the experience they have coming back

so basically you are admitting that you lied to make yourself look like you are untouchable... thats not a very "cool" thing to do coolkid999... sometimes it amazes me that there are people like this at every school...

there is a difference between being humble and being proud of your school.... i have that on there because i am proud of the tradition my school has built in acedemics and athletics....i have only been a part of a hand full of good teams in my time at bhs so my signature has nothing to do with me ... i am just proud of my school and proud to be a part of our tradition

No actually i was pointing out that it is kind of ironic that you say your school is so good at ACADEMICS when you cant even spell it right.
