I would just like to recognize and congratulate the Coyotes on a super season. Many in the state doubted them, but what a great year after going 1-8 last year!! They are graduating some awesome seniors, but have talent coming next year. They pulled together as a team and everyone worked hard to make it to the last round of playoffs! While a few players get the credit--it takes a TEAM to win, and all of them realize that. Cudos also to the coaching staff that have put a lot of time and effort into improving their program.

Keep your heads high and good luck in the future!!

What about the other teams that were expected to go nearly defeated? Like West Fargo for example, graduating 22(?) starters or close to that. They weren't even expected to make the playoffs let alone be ranked #1 for a couple of weeks. Good job to WHS to.

Great season and hopefully with population increasing in Williston area should allow the team to be a contender for years to come.

As long as WF has a huge enrollment they will be a contender. Add a very good coaching staff (which they have)and they should never miss the play-offs. And anyone who thought they would be sub .500 was off thier rocker.
