Williston at Minot

I think Mandan/Jamestown and Williston/Minot games are gonna be interesting. Also Williston and Minot are fighting for playoff seeds....and I wanna see how Century is going to bounce back after their disappointing loss to Minot last week.

Century- better all around team, recover from garbage loss to the magi
Bismarck- st marys no match
South- close early but south pulls away to win by 28
Simley-this years GFC could be worst team in 3A history
West Fargo- North is overrated
Jamestown- they just are better and home field advantage
Wahpeton- Smith rushes for 300+ against that riders D
Williston-Qvale carries team to victory

What i don't get is how Grand Forks Central is so bad this year, they have the talent to win at least some games, they score a lot of points. Must be the coaching. And Fargo North overrated? 4-0 in EDC, i think they are underrated, not enough people talk about them.

Since Bismarck beat Minot and Minot beat Century, what happens if Century can pull off a win against Bismarck and all 3 teams end the season with 1 loss, each being from eachother? How would the tie breakers work and who would get the seeds?

It is fun to play "what if", but, I don't think Century will be beating the Demons this year. I think the tiebreaker has something to do with head-to-head then point differential. (Minot beat CHS by 1 point) (BHS beat Minot by 28 points) etc.....

Bismarck Century - Going with the better defense
Bismarck High - no contest
Fargo South - Jemison will carry this team a long way
Grand Forks Central - best defeated team i have ever seen
West Fargo - bouncing back
Jamestown - not a terrible team
Wahpeton - over powering run game
edit: Minot over Williston

no disrespect to qvale or anything but how do you think he is going to lead his team victory by himself. minot is a good team and has a good backfield. williston has good tackles and a good qb and thats all williston has on minot

I'm pretty sure they have a better passing game than minot too.....

Williston does not have a bad offense and can score points. their passing game is actually pretty good

A 300 pound tackle is not going to lead a team to victory. Espicially the way he plays. He doesnt even play hard. He's ready to leave Williston and go to Nebraska, and show people that he is not for real. He's not going to cut it down there. I've seen North Dakota high school players run right past this guy. Hows he going to do when hes playing against guys in the Big 12.

Yes, we all know that a single player never carries a team by himself. Just don't bash players whatever your opinions are. State that you think he's overrated, but leave it at that.

Just cause you have 337 posts doesn't mean you know what your talking about and it doesn't give you the right to say whatever you want about a player without expecting reparations

If King James were to just say a player was "overrated"....he would get asked why he was saying that and what made a particular player overrated. He was just stating a couple of facts. (and probably added an opinion)

he simply expressed that he felt that qvale is overrated and than explained why he believes this to be true. that is what message boards are for. qvale is a bid dude no doubt and sometimes his work ethic is quetionable but i am sure that im not the only one that would like to see qvale and his team pull out a win against minot

They had a very good offense tonight against Minot. 34-14 Coyotes.

First half stats: Williston 10-15 passing for 150 yards. Minot 1-6 passing, 0 yards. Nuff said.
By and large, the only thing that stopped Williston's offense tonight was Williston's offense.
Williston's O line opened big holes most of the night. Minot's D line had no answer.

Unless they are totaly inept in practice, I am wondering why it is that Minot's reserve QB's don't see any meaningful action. It can't hurt to try.

Does he have to play both ways? Hasn't he attended lineman camp at Nebraska for a couple years? I'd trust their recruiters know what they are doing. Very few lineman recruits come in polished, that's why they give them a red-shirt year.
