Red River will emerge. Returning a quality quarterback and two 6'6" receivers to throw to.

West Fargo returns a solid junior class.

South, Davies.

Minot may be preseason #1, but the west will rig the poll, like hockey, to take the pressure off.

Bismarck, Century.
God is bigger than football.

Bismarck should be good, as usual, although they'll have some serious holes to fill at QB, TE and WR. Ford is a really good RB.
Minot has Bolinske back one more year at QB and he's a good one. That RB is gone, though. Minot probably should be ranked No. 1 early.
In the East, West Fargo graduated a ton of kids -- 30 plus. It's hard to fathom that they will be as good as last year. Actually, most everyone in the East has heavy graduations, it seems, although Sheyenne has everyone back and should be good. They bring back a nice RB/FB in that option attack. Can't recall his name.
Davies and South both lose some great kids. Not sure what to expect from them. Anyone have any thoughts?
Red River should be strong. Really good QB returns with two good WRs and nice RB from last year..All-state LB/FB is back, too.

Rick Philion is now on the Minot coaching staff. It will be interesting to see what he brings to the team.

Good predictions. This is fun.
A few thoughts on the East:
-North should be a little better than that.
-Devils Lake could be the sleeper. They return a 1,000-yard passer and also a RB who might be the fastest in the state.
-Davies graduated a lot of key people. No. 2 in the EDC might be a bit high.
-Central is shorthanded. Some returners may not be going out. Moving a position player to QB.

What it's going to boil down to is who worked hard in the Offseason, the team that gels together, and who stays healthy. Red River, WF Sheyenne, Davies, WF Packers should round out the top four but don't count out the other four South, Devils Lake, North, and Central because as we all know anything can happen. All schools lost good leadership from last year. It is just fun to see who fills in the shoes from those who have left. We all have our favorite team and I am not even going to go there as to pick who will come out on top, all I can say is who wants it! Good Luck to all ND high school teams this year!

GO PACKERS!

I'll take this prediction one step further and say whoever can scratch out a win in the final game of the season will hoist the championship trophy!!
