Not so sure WF can stop both JJ and Brooks. If they are able to hold them to shorter gains all game and not give up the 50 yd TD runs that South is accustomed to then they have a shot. WF offense sputters, but South does not seem to play decent defense for an entire game.
WF has 30+ seniors this year so they should be able to keep fresh bodies on the DL which will pay off huge in the 4 quarter, if they can keep it close until then. Their defense has been pretty stingy this year on giving up points so if they can keep that up they should be in good shape.
My guess is this will be a defensive slugfest and special teams might be the difference. should be a good show on friday night.

WF beating South would not be shocking to anyone except maybe South fans. WF has all the seniors you mentioned and a stud defense, they are the team to hold Bismarck to the lowest point total they've had at 21...the next closest, Minot holding them to 50! This is a very good team and Gibson, you bet will have them ready to go just like they did last year when South had a somewhat decent defense compared to this year...good luck to both teams. I think it will be fun for the players and fans both.

Now if you were South...wouldn't you kind of want to lose this game??

I think they'd rather see Davies in the Semis than Bismarck...I'm not saying South would tank this game but the matchup does bring an interesting twist.

It'll be interesting to see how this game is played.

Was it last year or the year before that Century was accused of doing this?

Momentum means a lot in the post season. I would think they would want to avoid any team that has beaten them already. Their best chance of winning the championship is probably trying to beat BHS in the semis.

If davies scored 50 on South, what would,Bismarck score on them? 70-80?

Minot's starting LB Matthew Marler is out for the year with a torn ACL.

Thats a shame.

Quite a few points left on the board for Minot via dropped passes, again.

I hope we don't see a team scoring 70-80 points in the playoffs. I would expect AAA coaches to have their teams prepared enough for this time of the year. No matter what, 2 big conference losses in a row is tough, and the Century-South is probably the most interesting game next weekend.

Sloppy play on both sides of the football for both teams. Dropped passes by Minot. Two fumbled punts by Minot inside their own 30 yard line and Dickinson can't convert points.
