We haven't played all teams yet, but the ones I've seen in WDA. I don't know all the kids names so apologies for that.
Jamestown - tightend. Ate us up in the passing game and solid blocker.
Bismarck - QB #12 Kraft. Big kid with a strong arm. Can make all throws.
Dickinson - WR #8 Blackwell. Good hands and good route running.

Does anyone on the defensive side from the WDA?

Individual players from Bismarck, Jamestown, Minot and Dickinson that stand out to you, on the defensive side of the ball?

LB for Dickinson #52' schmaltz I think was his last name.
LB for Century Tate Delzer #52
The entire D-Line for Bismarck.
I missed the Minot game, but hear the have a couple of good ones on both sides of the ball.
DB from Jamestown #14 Hogan. Not a big kid but really good speed and was a solid in 1 v 1 coverage.

I didn't dig to hard, but I can't find ind stats so it's hard to tell if they are having a good season or just had good single games.

For QB's...Hartness (Davies), Gibson (Bismarck), and then probably Bolinskie or Kraft as At Large.

RB's-Johanneson (South), Gorney (Minot), Ford (Bismarck)

WR's-Other Hartness (Davies), Tharaldsen (Bismarck), Brooks (South) He will be All State somewhere-just don't know if they'll have him at RB which he has more yards at anyways or wideout like I listed him, Hansen (Red River)

Just my thoughts on skilled guys.

Marler and Danielson at LB for Minot
I heard Marler got injury in Bismarck game and did not play beyond the fist qtr but will be back to play Dickinson
Gorney and Ford at RB
Austin Burlison for Minot is a big stud lineman both D and O
Gibson, Kraft and Bolinski for qb
Bismarck has severel very good lineman both O and D
#82 for Jamestown is really deserving

Who do you guys think is the best two DB and SS in the WDA and EDC?

I would assume there will be several from the WF defense, since they have only given up 86 points for the entire season.

Isaiah Helland-Davis from WF is like a gnat...one of the best corners and tacklers in the state. Nagurski is a pretty good FS from Century. I think the quality of Dbacks overall in the state is down..corners and safeties don't seem to be as good as tacklers as in past or pass defenders.

Couple guys that need mentioning in the WDA defense discussion.
Dickinson-Blackwell is a good FS. Very athletic. His speed gets him in the plays. Plays 2 ways all the time. He's a dnady WR too. Signed at UND already.
Minot-Alex Mack. One of Minot's LBs. Not as flashy as Marler(done for year, retore ACL), but better FB player. They moved him to FS with 2 games left. Tells you what kind of athlete he is.

Other thoughts on guys mentioned.

RB's-Johanneson (South) is a stud,stud,stud. Nuff said.
Gorney (Minot) is a track star. Doesn't like to be hit. Has big numbers but away the long sprints his totals aren't that impressive.
Ford (Bismarck) is a downhill runner. Tough kid, good speed. Blocks well and can catch the ball. Likes contact.

QBs-Gibson is solid. Doesn't make mistakes(probably afraid to). And he wins......
Bolinske hasn't had a great year, but solid. Offensive line not real good.
Hartness is a good, solid QB. Had a stellar year. So has his twin brother.
Kraft has done a great job after Feeney got hurt. He plays both ways too.

Hard to pick out lineman unless they really dominate....

That's a very specific question towards one team so if there is someone you think is worthy of being included in the discussion the please feel free to mention them.

Danelson from MHS is the cream of the crop......

Danelson is a great athlete. Smart out there and can read plays very well.

Larson from West Fargo is all over the field and led that team all year on defense. I saw that he was 2nd team last year and deserves the first team nod this year and only giving up 110 points all year is pretty impressive.

Kuntz from RR is solid and did a great job without much of a supporting cast.

Bismarck has several lineman that are pretty special.

From the West:
Defense:
Danelson;Minot, Schmaltz: DHS, Ford: BHS Areneson from Williston
Thought both ends from Mandan were cery good Bandish and Miller
Interior guys are hard to choose:
Corners: #3 from DHS and #15 at Safty

I believe #3 is Ben Twist and #15 is andrew Heckamen.

How about Austin Burllison (sorry about the spelling) at DT from Minot? He was a beast inside. Also Lund was solid at DE.

Bismarck is the best defense in the state and west, Minot probably 3rd in state, 2nd in West and you're going to pick 1 guy from each but 3 from Dickinson (one of the worst in the state)?!?! Bismarck should have 2 to 3 LB's and 2 DL for sure and Minot should have 2 to 3 DB's and 2 LB'S also...I hope you just haven't watched much from these teams or are from Dickinson.

Isn't there a 1st Team & 2nd Team? BHS & Minot will secure many of the 1st Team positions. Century, Dickinson will definitely get players on 2nd team.

Are you talking about the player #3 from Dickinson is one of the worst players in the state or what are you trying to say that the players from Dickinson are bad?
