I don't know about offense but all 11 starters for the demons on deffense looks like they would be great choices. Can't go wrong there

Yeah can't go wrong with the demons defense, they held it down all year.

Some possible players will most likely be, Joliffe, Yanosko, Wiesman, Johs, Jordan Krieg for offense. On defense the whole demon team could go, the only others id consider would be Tanner gust of minot, sadowsky of mandan and pizzo of minot. Im missing alot but these are the players ive noticed when watching games.

Heard once the coaches can nominate six players from their team. From watching the Minot games nominees should be: Yanesko (QB). Danielson (LB), Love (K), Lampert (RB), Gust (DL), Pizzo (DB)

Lampert put up some good yards this year, him and Johs will probably be the backs.

I think Lampert will be behind johs. There are no other very notable running backs from the west

Gust plays more offense then defense, and the d linemen for Bismarck high are outstanding!

Obviously Lampert was behind Johs, they still were the top running backs in the west if you look at stats. I only witnessed Lampert play against Mandan and North, he was very good. But I saw all of johs games and he was the top dog. Maybe they are the two top in the state?

What's wierd is that Lampert was second in the west in rushing, but I still think he was the 2nd best RB on his own team.

Behind who? Yanasko?

Johs was the best without much question but remember he had a returning offensive line with experience. Yanosko and Lampert ran behind a entirely new offensive line with no varsity experience and were without all-state blocking back Kolton Larson for all but 2 games. They each still had about 1000 yards rushing.

Larson wasn't an all state blocking back, he was an all state linebacker and I think cherwinski from Dickinson could be in the mix. If you figure yards per carry Johs is the only one in the west with a higher average.

Behind who? Minot rarely hands the ball of to someone else?

I am talking about Karter Gorney, the back-up RB. I know he's an unknown, but he has two things that Lampert doesn't have. Toughness and break-away speed. There were some plays were Lampert got caught from behind. If it was Gorney, he would have outrun the defense.

It's very difficult to play when you get "hurt" after every down you play!!

So your saying running backs dont get hurt at all? not sure I've seen him come out every play being hurt.

I am just saying that they both have about the same ability, but Karter is alot faster, that's all.

I think that lampert was starter mainly because he was on Varsity last year, Gorney wasn't.

Gorney was on the kickoff team last year. And if he had the ability he would be the starter.

And with the tanner gust thing just give it to him on offense. He is a good guard and 3 d linemen from Bismarck have 7 or more sacks. Sease, Jones, Bauer, Thorson combine for over 30 sacks on the season.

Bismarck's starting defense gave up 7 points all year and 0 in region play. Maybe they should make an exception this year and just give the entire BHS starting defense all WDA and all state.

What about Dillon Pierce from Century, isnt he at or near the top of the state for sacks?

I don't really know all I do know is that Jones and Sease are both very close to double digits
