I find it ironic that Trey Fitzsimmons led the state in interceptions and had multiple defensive touchdowns, yet was not selected.

There will always be omissions but what I find strange is that there are 5 QB's and 5 DB's five for one position and 5 for 3-4 positions. Seems a bit odd, heard this is a very political process.

the point is the honor of being all-conference is diminished if every teams QB is all conference

really 5 of 7 QB's? - really pick two at the most three.

I find this quite interesting. Century has 11 players that made all WDA Team, Mandan 10 and Bismarck 10. What I find more interesting is the number of QB's picked, that Bismarck had NO defensive linemen picked and that Reed Henrickson did not make the list. I also find it quite interesting that Century had 3 DB's and Bismarck had only one and Brett Adam didn't make the list he is a shutdown at corner Mandan would have two more scores without Adam and Bismarck gave up the least amount of points. I also find it interesting that Ben Kraft and Dalton Weisz from Century didn't make the list. How did Deon Volk make the list as a DB and even worse Fuher?

well football fan how many more touchdowns would bhs have had if it wasnt for fitzsimmons? 2 or 3 and also some big yardage plays that he broke up. yet he didnt even get an honorable mention. this picking of all region athletes is a very political process that i think needs some changing. many athletes who should be on here are not. and some that are on here should not be.

RZ84, you are correct on the fitzsimmons side as well. Agree with you totally about who is on and who isn't. I don't know who does the picking but it's obvious some that should be on the list are not.

This is honestly ridiculous.. Trey Fitzsimmons who i would say is easily one of the top 3 DB's IN THE STATE doesnt even get a mention but the Mandan coach puts his son, who did not make an impact this year, for all conference linebacker. All conference means nothing anymore. Congrats to the people that deserved it and I feel bad for the kids that didnt make it that should have.

Coaches do nominate their kids, they just are unable to vote for them
