What are everybodys predictions for the playoffs?

Will Century get upset?
Will Minot make it pass the first round for the first time in 4 years?
How much will Bismarck and Mandan win by?

Best Game is the Minot vs. Devils Lake matchup. However, after hearing about the Century/North game last night...I would be a little worried about them vs. South.

I don't know. If Devils Lake doesn't look out, Minot Could easily win by 20-30 points.
Looking at Devils lakes scores this year (according to common opponents) they didn't impress me.

DL beat Jamestown 49-8
Minot beat Jamestown 49-7

DL loses to Mandan 49-3 (I think)
Minot Loses to Mandan 28-7 (although alot of Minot turnovers)

DL loses to Bismarck 39-0
Minot loses to Bismarck 47-21

DL beat FN 26-6
Minot Beat FN 31-0

DL beat GFC 14-7
Minot beat GFC 45-0

DL Davies 49-28
Minot beat Davies 42-7 (Davies got a Kickoff Return touchdown)

All I said was that was the potential for the best game...I totally believe that the WDA will sweep the playoffs this year. Minot @ DL should be the closest of the games IMO (which I know you don't agree with)

Sorry, missunderstood.

I will be at that game , but I don't hope it's that close.

IMO the score for DL/Minot game could go either way.

Minot recievers against Jamestown had hands of stone. So they will have to run,run, run... against DL.

I agree on the DL/Minot game; as usual in a close game, turnovers and penalties will probably be the determinants. Home field advantage helps Devils Lake. They will have to effectively play their ball control game and avoid turnovers. I think the other games should be pretty competitive, with the possible exception of Bismarck/Davies. South is greatly improved and Red River should make a decent showing against Mandan.

That's all they ever do anyways. They usually attempt about 7 passes a game.

Can anyone give some info on Devils Lake's team this year. I'm surprised to see how well they've done this year. I didn't think they were even supposed to be that good if they had stayed in AA. I thought they lost a lot of experienced starters, including their QB for the past 3 years.

I would not be surprised at all if one of the better games we see out of the first round would be Century and South. South is a much improved team and i personally don't find anything too special about Century, especially after them playing Fargo North and barely winning by 1 point where it came down to the last minute. I'm going with Fargo South with the upset.

century will ovbiously have the easy win over f.south because south got killed last time they came to the bowl. i think that bhs will beat mandan and then bhs will play chs for the state title and chs will finally walk away with it.

I think Minot could give Cetury a run for their money(if they both win), because the last time they played each other tis year, Minot was leading, or tied with them for most of the first half. Minot actualy led at two different points, 7-0, and 14-7.

Century will not beat south by that much. They win by a touchdown at the most or loose. BHS and Mandan win easily.

It's going to be quite hilarious if century loses to south all because they didn't want to be in Bismarck's bracket!

i personally think it will be bhs and chs and that will be one heck of a game.

I think whoever wins the Bismarck-Mandan game will go on the win the state title!

im betting bhs will beat mandan. bhs is obvi the better team

Just noting something that hasn't been pointed out.. Devin Coyle has a throwing shoulder injury(so I've heard) and it is not certain if he will be able to play football again this season(again so I've heard). And I'm sure if he can play he won't be able to pass much due to this supposed injury.

I can see Bismarck and Mandan going for the title shot. It will be another knock down and drag out fight. A good one to watch in Bismarck this time. Who wins...? Whoever has the ball last.

Question for someone... If Bismarck and Century both win, how with this be played at Bismarck. One played early and one in the evening?

Yeah most likely...one team will play at 3:00 pm and the next game would be roughly 7:00 pm (this is just a guess on times though).
