St. John (2-5) @ Tri-County (3-4) st john by 20+, could go either way, im sure it will be ALOT closer

Benson County (6-1) @ Surrey (3-4) i got surrey in the upset, sandwich game for benson playing TGU and a big game against north star next week. i could see benson coming out playing lackadaisical and loosing this one.

Four Winds (2-5) @ Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood (6-1) if they can score 100 im sure they will try, 4 winds may keep it close till halftime. 4winds has a really good, hard nosed runningback

Dunseith (0-7) @ Kenmare (1-6) im sure it will be a dunsieth forfeit, either way kenmare by 20+

Which games have playoff implications this week? Win and you're in, lose and you're out

Edgeley Kulm vs South Border is essentially for the 4th seed in Region 1, barring any upsets.

Granted Divide County hasn't played either of the other top 3 yet, but if you look at the stats thread, they have Mott-Regent by almost 50 point either way. Their defense is very stingy and which ever back has the ball will make you pay to bring them down. This one will be the game to watch out west and I'll say will be a 1 score toss-up. Result will be at least a #2 seed.
Shame about the long drive. Any chance BEK Sports or local radio will cover the game?

South Border and Edgeley is gonna b the game of the week in region 1 in my opinion. I think LaMoure can take care of buisness if they can bounce back from a close loss to W/L where they had a chance to win the game

I can't figure out where this LAE bandwagon started. I cannot see LAE beating Cavalier, even if they are at home. Cavalier is much too solid at all positions and they have better athletes. LAE is huge, but I have heard they are a notch slower than most teams.

I think it should still be a good game...a much closer game then Cavalier is used to having (especially as of late)

I'll say Cavalier 38 Lakota-A-E 26 (still a win for Cavalier...but I think Lakota will hang around)

I see that witherspoon picked 1 big upset in each region...and I don't think any of those 4 will happen.

Edgeley-Kulm (3-4) @ South Border (4-3)
Hankinson (2-5) @ Napoleon-Gackle Streeter (7-0)
Sargent Central (3-4) @ LaMoure-L-M (5-2)
Richland (2-5) @ Ellendale (0-7)
Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (7-0) @ Strasburg/Zeeland (2-5)

A lot at stake in the EK/SB game, but I think SB is probably a 10 pt favorite, the rest seem fairly straight forward.

Region 2
Central Valley (1-6) @ Thompson (2-5)
North Border (6-1) @ Drayton/Valley-Edinburg (3-4)
Hillsboro (5-2) @ Hope-Page/Finley-Sharon (1-6)
Dakota Prairie (0-7) @ New Rockford/Sheyenne (5-2)
Cavalier (7-0) @ Lakota-Adams-Edmore (5-2)

If I were to pick an upset (I'm not) I'd pick DVE over NB.

ytd 59-11

SB vs EK is going to be a slugfest. Hard to pick a winner. Eve so slight edge goes to SB playing at home. If this were in Edgeley, Rebels would win.
