From what's going around it turns out a player that had just transferred to Maddock this year was already playing without having to sit out. Then when he moved to Minnewaukan he wanted to play on the football team, was told he couldn't, then asked why that was because BC let him play. The situation was investigated, and BC had to forfeit a game.

If I got any part of that story wrong, please let me know. But that's why I and a few other people have heard.

Yeah, I got the story last night and that's what I heard too. The kid ended up playing 4 plays at the very end of the FW game. not cool for BC that that cost them the region title because it had no bearing on the outcome of any games. On the field, BC won the region throughout the year, but rules are rules so they have to settle for #3. Cost them a home playoff game, but you still have to go through the same teams in the playoffs anyway. BC had a huge win last night as Northstar has always had their number for the last 4-5 years in all sports. It should give them a ton of confidence going into the playoffs and hopefully they can take care of CM.

Again, wait until this year is over.
