I'm not sure about the rest of Region 1, but South Border hosts Napoleon in Wishek on Thursday night. The winner of that gam will be the Region champs and the loser will be the #2 seed. It should be a good game and I predict that which ever team controls the line of scrimmage will win the game. It should be a good smash mouth fb game!

The Fargo paper had EK beating South Border with a complete box score. Was this incorrect or did EK really beat South Border. Please let me know.

Yes, should be a great game. Winner wins the Region. Kidder County currently sits third and Ellendale sits 4th with 1 game to play.

KC has played all their games. They will be the third seed from Region 1 and Ellendale should be the 4th seed.

South Border blew out EK on Friday night. It was over in the 1st qtr. SB played its second string for most o the 2nd half. (Final score was 52 - 6 or something like that) I left at the start of the 4th quarter to get warm!!!

Was only indicating Ellendale had a game left. Didnt say KC had any games left.

Sorry guess i misunderstood you...is there any possibility that Ellendale will not make the playoffs? Who else is has the possibility? Im guessing that Ellendale has beat all of the bottom teams in the region.

As far as region 3 goes. DP is 4 and it is, or will be a 3 way tie for first? Would Lakota win the tiebreak b/c of their blowout of Thompson?

Most point differential tiebreaks cap it at 17 pts so a big blowout might could be negated by a closer game.

Do you know if they do that? How do you think it is going to play out?

i think lakota wins the tiebreaker because of point differential. LAE has a +7 differential, NRS has a +4 differential, and thompson has a -11 diffential.

Most likely
1. Lakota 3 way tie break point winner
2. Thompson h2h winner over new rockford
3. NR-S
4. DP - could bump up with a win over NR this week

You're probably right. Most tiebreak scenarios go back to head to head after breaking the three way tie.

2. Thompson
3. DP

Benson County was 2-4 in region play.....not that it really matters as far as playoff spots, tho.

Any idea about the Wilton-Wing vs Washburn or Beach vs RTH games?

Beach 23, RTH 16. Good game.

Beach resorted to "three yards and a cloud of dust" football. Get this - RB Justin Maus carried the ball 48 times for 243 yards!
