Wyndmere-Lidgerwood or Hillsboro in the east.
I know little about the west so I won't speculate.

You've got to throw in someone from region 5, DC, MLS? This Friday should determine which.

Really South Border? Decent team but how can they even be mentioned anywhere near wyndmere after the beatdown that took place last week on South Borders home feild? and where is Hillsboro and Mott Regent. I like Maniacs list but maybe thats just me and Central Mclean isnt that good i watched them play Napoleon and they're back was tired not to long after half time from getting beat on all game I dont see them going very far.

After watching the beatdown they gave South Border last Friday I would have to pick Wyndmere-Lidgerwood as the top team. It will be interesting to see how South Border bounces back against Kidder County this Friday. (And to see how Kidder County bounces back after Napoleon last week.)

No teams in the west are in the same league as wyd/lidgerwood. That will be proven come playoff time.

my top 5
1. Wyndmere/lidgerwood (after the beat down vs. Sb watch out east)
2. Napolean-g-s- (always there..reload not rebuild)
3. Thompson (everyone has an off night..dont forget beat down DP and Hillsboro)
4. Wells Co. (they really control the clock with Houchin pounding all night)
5. tie MotthRegent (best in the SW) and St. John (early loss to Wells might have been a wake up call...get back to you after this weekend with TGU coming to town)

I was kind of hoping for a bone from the Outside Chance group where even Beach gets a mention.

You're probably leaving off the better two teams in region 4 - Wells and St John instead of TGU and North Star. Don't understand how you can have beach up there when they've lost to Central McClean and you must not think much of CM since they're not on your list. Also I think everyone is leaving off what just might be the best team in region 3....New Rockford. They've already handled Lakota and I think they'll beat Thompson as well. Guess we'll just see how NR stacks up when they play Napolean tomorrow. That could shake a few things up.

mott-regent
new rockford
weinmer lidgerwood
napolian

i put mott regent at #1 simply because they are undefeated and the number one team just lost so common sense will tell you that thats how the polls are gonna unfold. new rockford went into the napolian game with no votes and were going up against the number one team in state. you have to understand the mental toll that can take on a team, and everyone knows that 75 percent of football is your mental attitude. i dont know much about weinmere (or how to spell it haha) but there is alot of talk over this team and i honestly dont even know the scores against whoever they played this week but i am going to assume they won it. napolian lost to an unranked team which would leave me to believe that they could drop all the way down to number 4 but i guess we will find out come wednesday when the poll comes out

Napoleon might have lost to an unranked team but from what I hear the whole town of Napoleon is sick and half there team is sick mostly starters. COle johnson is out their best defensive player due to surgery on his thumb. New Rockford is a good team and should be getting votes in my way of seeing it but polls dont mean anything they shouldnt even do that stuff it all is determined in the playoffs anything. But CONGRATS New Rockford you guys prooved yourself!

Napoleon should still be the favorite, NR-S just won by heart and just wanted it more. NGS just overlooked NR-S Thats all.
