Top vs Bottom in Region 5. Will there be any major upsets?

Kenmare/Bowbells @ Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn - DC needs a WNG victory to keep their #1 bid alive. WNG might be high on a 60 - 12 manhandling of TTC, but I can't say that's going to be enough.

MLS Mohall/Sherwood @ Surrey - Surrey could break in to the top 4 and a play-off spot with a win. WIll need everything they've got.

Trenton/Trinity Christian @ Divide County - Senior night and JV game in DC. A good opportunity to let a few injuries heal.
It may not be the end of the world, but you can see it from here!

We'll get to see how good region 5 is with Parshall going up against Wells Co from region 4, who has been rated in the top 5 and receiving votes.

Thompson/NR will be the game of the week

You left off Thompson vs NRS - game of the week. WC won't win that big this week and hettinger will not beat Beach.

pretty sure that the only loss NR-S has this season is to Wells County and it was by about 3 touchdowns and NR-S jus beat the number one team in the state so idk that makes Wells County pretty good in my books

I have seen them a few times. They got one of the top backs in the state, they can threw the ball decently too. Their run defense looks pretty good but the main question mark i see for them is their pass defense, it appears to struggle immensely at times.

In all honesty I think the weakest part of most teams is their pass defense, but there are only a few teams with QBs good enough to exploit it. Of course if your run defense is no good, most teams won't need to pass to beat you.

very true. I have seen North Star play twice this year and they are one of the few teams who can throw the ball on a consist basis and they seem to do a good job of it.

well parshall doesnt have a good qb and he cant run or pass the ball, the tight ends cant catch, and the running backs are slow and cant read the field and dont get me started on the offensive line...looks like parshall is screwed on this one... :(

Did noone else notice stalling picked E-K over South Border. Think this is highly unlikely.

I noticed. It won't happen. He also picked Richland to get their 2nd win vs Wyndmere.

I've saw both Richland and Wyndmere play. No offense to the Richland kids, as their numbers are down and they're young, but I'd guess Wyndmere wins this one about 64-6.
