Kenmare/Bowbells @ Trenton/Trinity Christian - No contest
Surrey @ Westhope/Newburg/Glenburn - Region 5 game of the week. Two evenly matched teams, but I'll give it to the WNG home team. Hopefully the boys picked up some pointers from scouting the DC game last night.

Culbertson (MT?) @ Divide County - Do they play Football in Montana? I'd thought it interfered with sheep wrestling or whatever they do! Seriously, something different for DC, good experience as long as we don't add any more players to the IR.

Wasn't on the list so I missed that one. It will determine if Parshall is for real or just talking smack, but I'll go with MLS. Not that I minded seeing them lose to Kenmare, I think it was anomaly and Parshall hasn't played a good team yet. Any team can get lucky or have a good night, that's why you play the game.

ACDC you are just saying this because you are afraid of your precious maroons losing the region to Parshall.

Hmmm, we'll see. The region is pretty much wide open this year, but I really don't think Parshall will be the one to take it. I know winning a couple games may be a novelty, but you'll get over it.

I agree with AC-DC. Nobody has proved to be a whole ton better than anybody else. And Inky seems to think that 2 region wins wraps it up for Parshall.

I'd say beating Kenmare in game one pretty much sums it up. Parshall's power football is just too much for any teams defense to stop in this region. FACT.

WL - SB is going to be a great game. I'll give the slight nod to South Border, based on nothing more than Region 1 bias.

Fact? No. Beating one team in one game does not "sum it up" that no team in the region can stop their run. Parshall's letting a couple wins get to their heads.

OK, so it was a poor attempt at humor, but a sheep reference and Montana is kind of hard to pass up!

Wyndmere Lidgerwood is the team to beat. SB is a good team, but they don't have a good enough defense to beat WL. Should be a good game.

I am revising my WL - SB pick, I agree that WL will be a bit too much for SB's defense. I do think it will be relatively high scoring.

How do you say hes the best linebacker in the state when you think hes from parshall that doesnt say anything you dont know how fast he is hes a good hitter yeah but that doesnt mean anything theres many linebackers out there that are good hitters and disciplined you need to be exact on stats and facts to know if hes really the best linebacker in the state
