Brady Schwan - Surrey - Sophmore, 405 - 1 time.

Probably kids out there that can do more but I figured I would get this topic started.

this is a hard topic to say anything in cuz guys use a chair and other guys break 90 degrees and just a matter of an inch can make a difference of 50 lbs in your squat

how far of a squat do both of those kids do from wc? i've seen both of them and neither are that big or muscular, even though i know perdue is a strong guy

I would have loved to see this. 450 6 times would be hard for some professional athletes to do. That would be absurd for a high school kid to do.

I don't want to be a hater, but I highly doubt either of those kids could pull that off. (IF), they are correctly squatting of course. 6 reps of 405 pounds is the equivalent of a max of 515-550. And 6 reps of 450? No way. The strongest football player I have ever been around was squatting 6 reps at around 480, but he was a state champion powerlifter from Florida and a 6'2" 300 pound monster.

450 for 6 reps comes out to 523 max using a 1 rep max calculator, so I suppose it is possible.
But you can always post a video. I watch HS kids do half squats every week when they actually think they're doing full squats. I'm sure it is the same at weight rooms across the country.

You werent the only one that saw it then haha because i too was there and saw it with my own eyes it was crazzyyy......ya i couldnt even lift it off the stand holding it up :oops: haha
