I think Northstar will be up there, too, I just think they lost too much to make playoffs. Losing their RB and top receivers will be hard to replace. Komrosky is the one of the best QB in the state, tho.

You are thinking of Rick Slater. He is a senior and had a very good season. Mitch is his younger brother and got a lot of second team time at running back this past year. Looked like a pretty hard runner.

Tri-County returns Rott which was a defensive stud, and a hard runner to bring down. two of the three interior lineman have been starting since there freshman and sophomore year, the other lineman started last year and stepped up to his role. Schmaltz is a totally different quarterback than what we are used to, he sits in the pocket which is more of our style of passing. Martin will be a deep threat with his height and his hands.

It is very hard to decide on how they will work together, i mean if they can all get on the same page they will be a powerhouse, but its just the fact of two teams that have been playing each other for so long and now they have to play together, i just don't think they will click this year, but in oncoming years i can see them making it far.

yeah it will be tough to go from rivals to on the same team. and practice i think 30 miles apart pretty tough to get some chemistry going from that far away.

mitch will be a junior this year and if he works hard in the offseason he should start on both sides of the ball
