What are the match-ups projecting to be with one week left of the season?

Region 3 is looking like DP will be the 1 seed but be co-region champs with North Border. North Border still has a tough game against Lakota on Thursday. Thompson and Lakota both have 2 loses. If Lakota beats NB there will be a 3 way tie for 2nd and DP will be region champs alone. Overall I think it will go....

Dakota Prairie 1
North Border 2
Thompson 3
Lakota 4

Region 5 is a done deal;

1 - Williams County
2 - Berthold
3 - Divide County
4 - Mohall
It may not be the end of the world, but you can see it from here!

I think NB might have the tiebreaker over DP as long as they beat Lakota on Thursday because Thompson beat DP by more than DP beat NB?? I could be wrong but I think that might be how it works.

DP and North Border both have 1 loss. Thompson has 2. DP has the head to head against NB. That makes DP the one seed. The Thompson loss means nothin to DP, just gives NB the co-region championship. Its the head to head that decided it that goes to DP.

looks like if mott/regent wins this thursday in hettinger, which they probably will, they will lock up the 3 seed and end up playing divide county down in mott first round of playoffs.

Any thoughts on the M/R vs. Divide County match up if they happen to play? It is a quite a long bus ride down to Mott! What are everyones thoughts?

you know, this one could be interesting, both teams lost alot of seniors, but also have alot of talent back. As long as both teams are healthy this will be a shootout. Great coaches on both sides of the field.

Not a definite thing yet. Tomorrows game (as yoyo08 said) will decide the 3 and 4 seeds.

Does Hettinger have any real chance of winning?

I think Hettinger has a chance if they can shed the block, tackle and contain the edges.
They also have to protect the ball and execute on offense. If they do this they may win. If I had to lay down money I'd take Mott-Regent.

Just letting people know that the 3rd and 4th seeds are not definitely set yet. We'll know after tonight. And ya I'm picking M/R to win though.

So assuming region 4 is using the tiebreaker on the NDHSAA website, this is how it shapes up. Correct me if I am wrong or if they are using a different tiebreaker.

1. St. John- outright champ
2. Wells County- second due to point differential
3. TGU- third due to head to head with NS after Wells has been removed
4. North Star- 2nd in point differential but loses h2h with TGU after Wells is removed
Hater of the NC$$

Increased D1 student fees? I'm all for it.

Mott Regent and Hettinger should be a good game, both teams are tough. I give the edge to MR. Hettinger does have a few real good players. Dobitz will be the one Hettinger will have to contain.

M/R 48
Hettinger 0.

This wasn't even a game. M/R controlled it the whole way. 300 some yards on the ground. Pretty balanced attack running the ball to. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.

Write it down. Hettinger has not scored a point on Mott/Regent in 3 years and has given up at least 38. Wow. Domination.
