Region 2 2008

The teams in 9 Man

I don't understand why more teams don't run zone against those spread offense's. How many 9 man coaches have their outside lb's or even their corner's really working on the correct way to play man coverage?

So is there any upsets that could happen this week...i think most of the games are pritty even or just a miss match. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood should win...Hillsboro will win unless something amazing happens. Hankinson at Richland-Colfax is probly going to be the best game and Barnes County North at Northern Cass could have anything happen.

If the weather is crappy Hankinson could be in trouble. They depend so much on throwing the ball and if it's rainy, cold, and windy the passing game gets really tough to execute.

Richland 28, Hankinson 0
W-L 47, FSHP 6
Northern Cass 33, BCN 6
Hillsboro 58, GCC 20

So now we're sitting like this:

Hillsboro 5-1
W-L 5-1
Richland 4-2
Hankinson 3-3
FSHP 3-3
Northern Cass 3-3
BCN 1-5
GCC 0-6

FSHP @ Northern Cass becomes the big game of the week. Unless Hankinson rises up and shocks Hillsboro, they will be on the outside looking in because the winner of FSHP and Northern Cass will get into the playoffs at 4-3. It boils down to this:

Northern Cass - win and they're in
FSHP - a win and Hankinson loss and they are in (Hankinson holds a tie breaker over FSHP)
Hankinson - a win and a Northern Cass loss and they are in (NC holds a tie breaker over Hankinson)

Hillsboro, W-L, and Richland are playing for seeding.
