thougths
keys to coaching
1) Surround yorself with people who can't live without football
2) Recognize winners. They come in all forms
3) Have a plan for everything

"Don't give up at halftime. COncentrate on winning the second half"

"When you can't score from the 1, you don't deserve to win"

I would have to nominate that exchange student from Divide County. I can't remember his name so maybe some from DC could clarify things. All I know is that kid could kick. Just outstanding.

His name is Kurt Friez, Kid has got a boot for sure. I think he's headin back after this year though, that's gonna be a tough spot to fill. But i'm sure DC will find someone to fill in.

Yea I agree that it will be a tough spot to fill and I don't think that they will be able to find someone as a replacement that was the same caliber. The kid could really kick the thing and I heard that he made some amazingly long field goals (which is pretty much unheard of in 9-man Football) so if he does stay my vote definitley goes for him.

Kurt's exchange program will finish and he'll have to go home this summer.

He routinely nailed 50 yards plus in practice. He missed a 53 yarder in a JV game by 6 inches. Everyone on both sides, including the ref's, were stunned just watching the ball fly.

He's a good hockey player as well, made the Jr Gold All-State team.

We would love to have him around for another year, but that's how the program works.
It may not be the end of the world, but you can see it from here!
