Poll for next year

Postby sports for life » Fri Apr 11, 2008 10:59 pm

If you could create a poll from what you've seen this past year and who is losing who......who would be the top 10......or 5

No, they can't until next season if that's what the proposed changes will have them playing at. Also, isn't New Salem 11 man, too???

? Did the eastern side of the state decide not to play 9-man? Don't forget Wyndmere and Hillsboro.

New Salem was 11-man this last year and I assume they still will be 11-man this year.

Isn't M-R losing a ton of seniors?

They lose 12 seniors. They definitely won't be a top five team, but the wildfire could definitely make it to the playoffs.

i think st.john will suprise a lot of people again this year.....i mean look at how many doubters they had last and then they ended up making it to the quarterfinals....i'm not saying they are gonna win state or anything but they do hav just as good a chance as divide or any of the other good teams next year

i disagree they lost a lot of people. They will have a good enough to win region 4 but. I don't think anyone will beat divide it will be there year.

If I remember right, they threw the ball a lot and he was a stud QB. So he will be a HUGE lose for the woodchucks. I am not saying they will not be good, because i am picking them to either win or get second in region 4, but they will not compete with Divide.

Seeing as New Salem and Rolla-Rolette do not drop into 9man I'll revise my picks.

!.Divide Cty
2.Mott-Regent
3.St.John
4.Hillsboro
5.Napoleon

Some are ranked based on last year and tradition, and I'm sure a few of these will not make it out of regionals. Time will tell.

like everyone said about napolean last year, M-R will be #1 until someone beats them but i don't think it'll take to long for someone to beat them

I agree. My picks were based on last years performance. The teams that do well and make it to the playoffs may be some newcomers, but Divide Cty and Hillsboro should be safe bets

My pick this year is gonna be Divide. Although they lost some very talented athletes, they are returning a very experienced group of seniors. They lose some size but I expect to see some decent speed this year.

I cannot argue with this poll. After the past years, it is different to see Napoleon anywhere but number one. I do think Wyndmere will surprise some people though and sneak into the top 5 at some point. Central McLean will also shake things up.

What about Oakes?? they should be top 5. Napoleon losteverybody except Gross. Oakes only lost Albus and Jorgenson. Both are huge but they return 6 starters and Hagen is a stud a Runningback. Edgely lost everybody except Zach there runningback and other teams are no good in there region. Oakes should come out #1 out of the region.

I'm guessing Coach Sagart isn't too excited about you telling everyone how great you are next year. By the way, your statement about Napoleon just gave Cole Laber enough motivation to win 6-7 games by himself.
