FSHP vs Wyndmere Lidgerwood is a very good matchup. Both one loss teams with play-off seedings on the line. Curious to see how the Spartans bounce back and how they handle Puetz and his scrambling abilities.
Honest to goodness, Puetz reminds me of Fran Tarkenton - both a bit shorter than your prototypical quarterback, but both can run around forever until they find a receiver to throw to.
OK, I'm dating myself with the Tarkenton reference. A modern day reference would be Michael Vick, but that's strictly a reference to football ability, NOT to Vick's character.

I just wanted to reply to Ocho Siete post earlier today. Ocho, I'm guessing your post was supposed to be sarcastic towards me. If not, don't mind the following. Yeah, I talk about Divide alot. And as you seem to already know, I'm from there. Of course they are going to be just about the only team I talk about. They are the only team I really know anything about, get it? I don't exactly have time to go and watch everybody play on Friday night. I've only watched Divide play twice. I really wish people would quit taking offense to things said on here. Unless the posts are blanantly offensive and personal, just leave it alone.

C'mon hinsa, if people here don't know who Fran Tarkenton is, it destroys all their football credentials :P

congrats to richland.....looks like they might squeak into the playoffs with the 4 spot.. fshp locked up the two spot tonight with a good game. They were able to make some long drives to keep puetz off the field

I'd also like to congratulate Richland. They've come back from tough losses to determine their own fate for the playoffs now. They'll be favored against Griggs County. A win and they're in.
Tough loss for Hankinson. Looks like they are out of the playoffs after being one of the favorites to win the region in pre-season polling.
Huge win for FSHP tonight. Looks like the Spartans pulled themselves up off the turf after last week and took it to a strong WL team.
Thompson needs a little help from DP to beat Drayton-St. Thomas next week. I think that's highly likely so it looks like Jim Larson's Tommies return to the post season.
I saw on the news that Central Valley named their field after their long time coach - Randy Vigen. What a cool thing to do - Coach Vigen is very deserving of such an honor. Vigen is a true gentlemen in every sense of the word.

Ya, you don't see many teams put up 84 points on the other team and still give up 40. I would like to know why the score wasnt closer, did one team have some turnovers in which the other scored on, would be interesting to see just how many defensive stops there were.

I saw the boxscore and almost every TD was 40-50 yds. I don't know about turnovers, tho.
