Some big games this week.

Lakota at Dakota prarie for the battle of Nelson County in Mcville, bitter rivals

Surrey may get their first win on Thursday

BCN has their best match up for a win this season

Battle of two unbeatens in region 3, Hankinson vs Hope Page Finley Sharon

Wyndmere Lidgerwood vs Richland, big rivalry, should be a good game

I think all of the following will be some pretty good games....

Lakota vs DP, Northern Cass vs Hillsboro, Hankinson vs FSHP, Berthold vs Divide Co, and NCB vs St. John.......I believe all are unbeaten except for DP which will be fighting to stay alive for a region crown.

Are you sure about that score?  I read in the Minot Daily that Surrey won 21-20.  Could have been a misprint, tho.

Sheldon Greywater is back in FW co-coaching with another guy.  You might remember him from Jamestown College football about 10 years ago.  He was a darn good lineman and even played some semipro ball down around the cities.

The first score is correct.  Four Winds-Warwick won 20-12.  Somebody mentioned it was Four Wind's first win in 4 years.  The other Co-Head Coach for Four Winds-Warwick is Davey Davidson.  Four Winds-Warwick has 22 players on the roster, but only 16 were dressed last night and they still got the win.  Congrats to them.

FW beat Dunseith in Week 1 44-6.  I don't know if that was their first win in 4 years, but I know they've been trying to build back up their program for a few years now.

Oh my gosh! I coached in Lakota for three years. I don't think you could take two NCN-NCS-DP-L games where the score even added up that high. I would love to see the offensive stats. Send 'em to me if you got 'em.

You have that one flip-flopped.  Dunseith beat Four Winds 44-6 in Week # 1.

I think (1-1) Four Winds will give an (0-3) Maddock a very very tough game.  It definitely wont be a repeat of last year's game which ended in a very embarassing loss for FW.  Look for both teams to display a lot of speed, it should be exciting.

Really, I guess that score was incorrect too then.  Must have been a misprint on the NDHSAA site.
