I have a question,

looking at the new 9-man regions it shows there will be 6 regions this fall instead of 8.

I am wondering if they will change the playoff format from 16 to 12 teams, or if they keep it 16, how will they determine the the other four spots?

I think it should only be 12 teams that make playoffs, 2 from each region. I think thats the way A and AA should be too only have the top 2 teams from each region make the playoffs.

I agree but I wonder what the playoff format will be?

Top 4 from each region make the playoffs. There will be 24 teams in the playoffs now with the new alignment. The first plaoff game is on a Tuesday, with the second round 4 days later. That is the plan that I heard.

That sounds reasonable there are some stacked regions this year.

yes region 2 is stacked Hillsboro, Hankinson, Hope, Wyndmere, Richland,  there is going to be some good teams from that region not in the playoffs.

Heck even BCN will be young but talented.

Region 3 is also pretty salty With North Border being the favorite with Lakota, Dakota Prairie, Thomson, and Central Valley all close behind. there will be no free passes to the playoffs with these two regions.

Getting back to the final four

look out for Mott, Napoleon, Hillsboro, and Divide Co.

I think Lakota will have a great chance of getting back into the final four this upcoming year.

Lakota will be tough, but I worry about depth with them. One or two key injuries with Lakota and it's a whole different season.

ya i think Rolla said something like that too. Look how that turned out. I think Michael Macatee was 2nd in nine man in rushing, and he had 10 carries for 19 yards and Rolla as a team had -19 yards rushing.

The Divide vs. Williams Co. game should be a good game. But I don't think Williams has much of a chance to win. I can't even name on player on their team besides Lalim. But he is just like his older brother, good, but not very tough. So I think Divide will take care of business early.

Hey Bobby Jones, I'm guessing your from Williams County, that's cool. I'm from Divide, and I'm pumped that our rivalry is back again. Just so you know, our boys will be ready and it should be a great game.
