I hope Hankinson does good breaking up the co-op and all that stuff, just hope the boys can adjust to 9-man.

I think they will do good with Jamie Mauch, Ben Altoff, Jake Brandenburger, Brandon Heitjmanek, Steve Dickerman, Alex Beach, and Curtis Krump if you know who they are they are really athletic and I personally think they will do good even though they are used to the 11-man stuff and they have a very tough region. I just want your opinions if you know who they are or anything else about them.

Josh Asp and yes he was a senior. I think it is up for grabs beween Alex Altoff and Danny Hangaard. Both going to be sophs next year.

I know quite a few of the guys on this team, hangaard may be the QB but that will be their biggest question.....all around they still have a good team and going from 11 to 9 man is not as hard as many people think, coming from experience.  Mauch will probably be all state for sure but the thing about beach being athletic??  have you looked at the kid, if he dropped off I would say 10 to 15 pounds and got his speed up just a little bit more, probably an all region, maybe allstate player.  all in all, that will probably be the top team coming out of region 1, it'll be close but they have the most returning experience and talent.

I think dropping down to 11-man is hard for SOME teams.  I've seen first hand teams like New Salem and Hettinger drop down to 9-man and get pumped their first season.  But after that initial season they got way better.  I think it also depends on the coach too, im sure it would be hard for a younger coach who has never player/or coached a 9-man team, luckily New Salem has a great staff to help them.  Is Hankinson's coach experienced enough to ease the transition? I don't know anything about their program....just that they have one of the best uniforms i've seen in ND football.

uni's could do without the god awful yellow color though!!  the transition for them shouldn't be hard at all, they came up from 9-man to 11, so going back down is just taking a step backwards for them, but they still had the same coach.

Yep, they were 11 man the past two years, it goes on two year contracts down there for the divisions the schools play in.

they might struggle a bit......richland, hillsboro, no cass, and wynd-lidg should all be good......the benefit will be that hope/page and no cass will be in the same boat going from 11 to 9.....wynd/ligd has done it so often, i don't think they even notice the switch

nope.....we never did, moving down it felt like we had a leg up, especially making our run for the title my sophomore year, but you never know.....the move doesn't go as smooth for some players

Hankinson only spent two years up at 11-man.

They're much more used to the 9-man game.  It won't be too drastic of a change for them going back down.
