Most interesting games this week:

Cavalier @ Wyndmere-Lidgerwood - Wyndmere seems to be heading towards a strong season behind their stud running back. Cavalier is coming off a game many were surprised about how competitive it was and has a new head coach. Should be a good game but I think might be Wyndmere's statement game where they announce they are real deal. I will take Wyndmere by a score of 34 to 20.

Bottineau @ New Rockford - I called pre-season that I think Bottineau makes noise in this region before the season started. They had a good win to open the season and get another opportunity to prove it against a program with a track-record of success. I will take Bottineau by 8 (28 to 20).

New Salem @ Grant County - Biggest upset in the state last week with South Border knocking off Grant County. These two teams had a lot of pre-season buzz. A chance for Grant County to bounce back and prove if they are real deal or not. I think it is a slug fest with New Salem winning by 6 late (24 to 18).

Surrey @ Ray-Powers Lake - Should be a good game and will be a chance to see if Surrey is one of the top teams around the state like we think. Ray-Powers Lake will be a tough out all season long but I will take Surrey.

Last I heard South Border was up big over Mott early in the 4th. (by 30+)
