I think this year may be difficult to predict just because of some teams missing out on some games.

Region 1- I would guess either Brett Wendell, LaMoure (RB) or Sawyer Satrom, MayPort CG (QB).

Region 2- Best guess would be Brannin Cleem, Cavalier (QB). Xavier Mitchell (RB) from North Prairie could be another candidate here.

Region 3- I"m just not super familiar with this region and with all the games missed due to covid I wouldn't know who to pick.

Region 4- There are a lot of good options here- Connor Ottmar, Grant County (RB), Linton's Lucas Schumacher (QB) or Trey Jacob (RB) although Schumacher missed quite a few games, that might hurt his chances. Kidder County's Jonah Harter (QB) or Peyton Cauthon (RB) are another pair of good choices.

Agree Region 4 is a tough one you could also add Tyson Mattern to that list

As I am more familiar with Region 2, I feel like North Border could possibly have a couple candidates. Also, don't look past Cavalier's linemen. The Tornadoes wouldn't even be in the running without their linemen.

A lineman is not winning senior athlete, just part of being a lineman.
It is a little harder to motivate kids I guess because they’ve been pampered so much. We’re in the trophy generation, give ‘em a trophy for 23rd place, make ‘em feel good. Make mom and dad feel good.” Tom Izzo, Michigan State Basketball

It doesn't happen very often but is possible. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood had one win it just a couple of years ago so it isn't unheard of.

So I know Lucas Schumacher of Linton was the Senior Athlete of the year so he was Region 4's Senior athlete but who where the other three now that the season is over?
