Qrf playoff format update this far

Just curious what playoff bracket would look like as of right now. I realize it will probably change drastically in next couple weeks. I am big Region 2 fan, wondering if sheyenne new Rockford and Cavalier would be on opposite sides of bracket in playoffs.

Right now the 4 'Region Champs' would be
Region 1: FSHP
Region 2: NRS/Cavalier
Region 3: Central McLean
Region 4: Linton-HMB

They'd be ranked:
#1 - FSHP
#2 - Linton-HMB
#3 - Central McLean
#4 - NRS/Cavalier (they are low for now...it'll bounce back as season progresses)

therefore the seeding would be

(#1) R1-1 vs. R2-4
R2-2 vs. R1-3

(#4) R2-1 vs. R1-4
R1-2 vs. R2-3

(#2) R4-1 vs. R3-4
R3-2 vs. R4-3

(#3) R3-1 vs. R4-4
R4-2 vs. R3-3

So right now they'd be on the same side of the bracket...but that will change as many of those teams have key matchups that will raise or lower their QRF rating; which could shift things drastically

Right now the 4 'Region Champs' would be
Region 1: FSHP
Region 2: NRS/Cavalier
Region 3: Ray/Powers Lake
Region 4: Linton-HMB

They'd be ranked:
#1 - FSHP
#2 - Linton-HMB
#3 - NRS/Cavalier (they are low for now...it'll bounce back as season progresses)
#4 - Ray/Powers Lake (owns tiebreakers and favored to take Region 3)

therefore the seeding would be

(#1) R1-1 vs. R2-4
R2-2 vs. R1-3

(#4) R3-1 vs. R4-4
R4-2 vs. R3-3

(#2) R4-1 vs. R3-4
R3-2 vs. R4-3

(#3) R2-1 vs. R1-4
R1-2 vs. R2-3

Winner of NR-S/Cavalier catapults up the rankings this week, I think

Will there be a Wednesday or Thursday QRF? Be nice to see how far the Cavalier New Rockford winner moves up before the final week

I've requested on Tuesday evening after games finish to run the QRF...instead of the usual Monday time because of the Langdon game being on Tuesday & the NR-S/Cavalier game.

Is it automatically the 4 region champs that get the top 4 seeds or is it the top 4 teams ranked in the QRF? Is it possible that a 1-loss Region Runner-up (Cavalier or New Rockford) could remain in the top 4 of the QRF Rankings? Would they just get bypassed in order to give the seed to a different region champ? Thanks

As I understand it, it is the 4 region champs who get seeded.

CONFIRM: It is only the 4 region champs who get ‘seeded’

Am I correct in looking at the playoff bracket that was put out from a few weeks ago in the "If playoffs started now" that Region 1 and 2 are paired in the quadrant based on the seeding and region 3 and 4 are also paired.

If I am correct in this- I am guessing tonight's winner of Cavalier vs. NR-S will leap up to #1 in the QRF. That would mean FSHP and Linton would be the 2/3 (doesn't really matter which order, and then Ray-PL #4. With what we know about teams already clinching spots it would look like this:

#1- NR-S/Cavalier Winner vs. R1 #4 Lamoure-L-M
R1 #2 MPCG vs. R2#4- Loser of St. John/North Prairie

#4- Ray-PL vs. R3 #4 Surrey
R3 #2 Central McLean vs. R4#3 Beach

#3- Linton HMB vs. R4#4 Grant County/Flasher
R4#2- Kidder County vs. R3#3- Mohall/Lansford/SHerwood

#2- FSHP vs. R2#4- St. John/North Prairie loser
R2#2 NRS/Cavalier Loser vs. R1#3 Tri State

Ray/Powers Lake is not guaranteed the #1 seed in R4...3-way tie is imminent.

Safe bet the 4 seeds with one week to go are:
#1 Cavalier
#2 Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page
#3 Linton-HMB
#4 Region 4 winner

So for those wondering...that would put Cavalier & New Rockford-Sheyenne in opposite sides of the bracket; Linton could easily hop up to #2 overall seed and FSHP drop to #3 assuming all win their final weeks games.

Bracket idea will become clearer on Saturday after games are played as other variables can affect the QRF.
