In region 3 the interesting game will be Oakes vs LintonHMB. I’m picking Oakes by two scores. They were tough last year but I guess their stud running back graduated. Still I watched Linton play Strasburg and was not impressed

Any thoughts on Richland vs Thompson. I would think Thompson would have to be favored. Both teams look like they score alot of points. I think you have to contain Schwabe if you want a chance against Thompson. I believe he is alot more dangerous running than passing. I am more familiar with Thompson than Richland. I think Richland has a good QB in Meyers not sure how many players they lost or got back from last years fiasco. Looks like it could be for the #1 seed in Region 1. Thompson has alot of depth which could be a factor in 2nd half.

The question is can Richland slow Thompson down on D...Richland can score and will score but can they score enough?? Thompson should win by 20 IMO

Region 4 has a couple of teams that are decent but also has one team thats record is way above where it should be. But hey when you beat up on a winless team twice and get a forfeit, I guess you can think you are a good team.

North Prairie by 20
Benson County by 20

We shall see! Sounds like we have a beat up fan here.

I'll take NS by 10

Iceman you sad because nobody was picking NP? NS makes their 2pt conversions they win! I'd say they played very well considering they were missing #4 tonight. I think they showed a lot tonight and will be just fine.

Some quick thoughts:
1) Richland better than I thought
2) Hankinson, what happened there?
3) was hoping Oakes would put up about 65 more points in their game

Panthercub, not a NP fan, yes 2 pt conversions can mean a lot in a game and missing # 4 could make it tougher. But every team is missing players now so not an excuse. Heck isn’t NS missing #24, #6, and # 20 from last year team also? But they will get 2 of those players back sometime this year.

Yes they are missing those 3. 24 moved away, 6 and 20 will be back. It was a great game last night. Reminded me of the St. John battle last year.
