Don't trust MaxPreps...it's an outside source that posts those scores.

Utilize this site: http://www.northdakota-scores.net/teams ... &tid=12293 (Linked to Shiloh's schedule).

Shiloh has had a good run the last few years but I predict that Mott will beat
Them this season. I watched Mott last week and they are very talented and have depth with all the New England kids they added. They have the size to match up with them and are very good at the skill positions led by Wallace. Think it will be a good game, but I will take Mott
By 2 TDs

Well fellas we are at the halfway mark. We know the polls are voted on by the media, but are they accurate. Who are Truely best teams in the state and then rank them. Doesn't have to be only 5 teams. Rank them how you want, East and west. State wide. Who are the best teams

where's your rankings bulldog? :)

i think first two gotta be shiloh and cavalier. I think shiloh is one but could see either way . . .

gets tuff from here out as i don't know much about many of these but i would rank:

3) Thompson
4) Wyndmere/Lidgerwood
5) North Prairie
6) New Salem/Glen Ullin
7) Napoleon/G-S
8 ) Kidder County
9) Linton/HMB

it will be interesting in the next few weeks to see how head to head works out and if everyone can stay healthy. i guess looking at what i wrote i probably agree with the media :)

EAST
1. Cavalier
2. Thompson
3. Wyndmere-Lidgerwood
4. Napoleon/Gackle-Streeter
5. Linton-HMB
6. Hankinson
7. Kidder County
8. New Rockford-Sheyenne

WEST
1. Shiloh Christian
2. New Salem-Glen Ullin
3. North Prairie
4. St. John
5. Divide County
6. Mott-Regent/New England
7. Mohall-Lansford-Sherwood
8. TGU

West is a lot harder to come up with a Top 8 then the East (IMO)

Last week there were 8 teams undefeated after week 3.....not sure how that compares to years in the past
after week 4 there are 7 teams still without a loss.....this seems high but like I said not sure of the comparison to previous years.....point being I think it would be real tough to come up with, lets say whos the toughest top 4-8 teams, if they played now.......some teams are banged up and some aren't, but I suspect in the next few weeks there wont be 7 teams still undefeated.........

I agree with some of the earlier post that some of this will work itself out over the next few weeks. Also ranked some based on where they will be at when playoff time rolls around, not necessarily where they are at right now. With all that said Here are my top teams in the state
East
1- Thompson
2-Cavalier
3- Wyndmare-Lidgerwood
4- Linton
5- New Rockford

West
1- St. John's
2- New Salem
3- Shiloh
4- Mott
5- North Prairie

How can you have St. John at 1 and North Prairie at 5 when they've already played and NP won?

He ranked where he believes they will be at season's end...not right now.

I would think if McGillis plays the whole game St. John would beat NP by at least a TD. I disagree with Thompson over Cavalier. If Urlaub plays the whole game, Cavalier wins by 2 tds. Give credit to Thompson though, I am sure their line has improved, and you never know how healthy Urlaub will be playoff time. I was at the game and both teams had alot of chances to score. I do think if Cavalier wins out in the regular season, they will have homefield. Thats a big if though. I see Wyndmere-Lidgerwood and Thompson play the last game of the year in Wyndmere and that is a tough place to win also.

Exactly what run said, I put them where I believe they will be at the end of the year. Still a lot of football to be played and I know NP beat ST. John's but I still feel like st, John's would get Them in the playoffs.

"best team...by far," but we're only going to beat a one loss Thompson team at home by 12.

wyndmere-lidgerwood just has the depth to make it through the season, Thompson probably does also though.
Plus a bunch of seniors. Just my opinion. I will see them this Friday and will get back to you.

I think Thompson beats W-L because I think they can run the ball better and believe play a little more defense. Schwabe is super elusive. I do think W-l has best lineman in Moffett, Harles is excellent QB who has alot of receiving weapons. Vasquez's I'm sure are tough. WL is fortunate to play at home which I think is worth a TD in itself. Thompson has the big game experience on their side. Injuries might play a big role also.

Not saying your wrong, but the teams they have beat so far have a combined record of 3-13. Doesn't look like they have faced much competition so far. I would definitely put Thompson and Cavalier above them. Maybe even a couple more teams.
