Dale and Emmel are a given, they were both 1st teamers last year. The Mott kid is going to be a good one, but won't make it this year IMO. Just to young yet to be considered for all state. Schafer from GC-F could and should make it as a second teamer, maybe sneak in as a first teamer. It's hard to pick kids from Region 4 since the competition is so low this year. Shiloh has run only a dozen or so plays after halftime all year. How do you compare their players to kids that play full games every week due to low numbers and close games?

I agree that the Mott kid will get overlooked because of age but I don't think he should, he's one of the best players in the region regardless of age.

Schafer should be first team. He's carried his team and has the stats to back it up. (He would have even better stats if Center-Stanton wouldn't of had to forfeit)
Rushing: 135/1,287. 21 TDs. 8 2-pt
Receiving: 8/182. 2 TDs.
He's averaging: 214.5 rushing yards per game, almost 4 touchdowns, and 9.53 yards per carry.

I agree with you Schaferer is having a heck of a season, and yes he would have even better stats if they played Center. The only point I want to make is if Shiloh kids played full games they would have 4 kids with great numbers like Schafer.

The Mott kid is a good young player but there are more deserving kids on other tears in just Region 4. Already talked about Dale, Emmel and Schafer, RTH has a very good rb who had some big runs against Shiloh. Mott kid will have his day, but not this year IMO.
