I know things will get much clearer in the next couple weeks, but looking ahead how do the regions stack up against each other. seem like region 3 is tougher than region 4 and that 1 and 2 are pretty even, with the exception of cavalier who I think everyone expects to repeat this year.

You can correct me if I'm wrong, but if LLM wins this week they're the #1 seed.
Hankinson and SB can both clinch berths with wins this week or next.
Looks like it might be pretty tough for SB to avoid going to Cavalier for the 4th straight year.

LLM went to cavalier in the first round last year and SB must have went in the second round. There is a scenario where SB is 3 seed. If SZ beats Hankinson and Richland beats Hankinson, then SZ gets 4 seed via head to head over Hankinson. That is provided SB wins out and they may have a tough game against Napoleon.

Looks like another Shiloh/divide match up is going to happen.
How do you see that playing out. Seems like region 3 is tougher then 4 by a long shot this year

I don't think divide has enough to slow Shiloh...its the semifinal matchup that would be more intriguing and a better game.

Lets break this down a little bit...

Region 3 is more competitive than Region 4, and this can only help when playoff time begins. The only acurate comparison to Region 3 playoff teams and Shiloh this year is what took place last year in the playoffs and what Shiloh has done this year.

In the playoffs last year Shiloh defeated DC and St. Johns. They eventually lost to WNG due to a superior game by WNG's QB and 4 fumbles lost in the first half. They were still only one play away from winning after all the mistakes and being down 20 to start game. WNG's QB graduated last year, so not even a factor this year. I haven't seen a team from Region 3 play this year, so I really don't know how much they have improved from last year. I know TGU's QB is very good and has a ton of experience. St Johns has some very good players, and DC aong with WNG always put quality teams on the field.

Shiloh was the top team from the West last year (Regions 3 &4). Just because you are the best doesn't mean you can just show up and win. (WNG proved this last year by beating them.) Shiloh has filled the holes from the 3 senoirs who graduated from last year. They have established depth on offense and defense which they didn't have last year. They have two of the best RB/LB in 9 man (could argue the best), and both will be well rested going into the playoffs ( which was a huge issue last year). Their QB can throw and pass as well as any QB in 9 man which wasn't even an issue for teams to defend last year (especially running part). Their starting defense has only given up 12 points all year (all against RTH 2nd game of year). So IMO Shiloh is better than last year and will be hungrier.

Playoffs, anything can happen... Shiloh still has to beat Mott and GCF before they can even think about Region 3. Have Region 3 teams improved from last year? Shiloh has improved at every position from last year. The question is can they handle the pressure better this year and secure the #1 seed and home field advantage throughout the playoffs? If they can do that, the skies the limit, but anything can happen. This is why they play the games.....

I actually think we are going to see a Shiloh/MLS match up, with Shiloh winning big. Looking at the potential match ups, I think both of the 2 vs 3 seed games could go either way and are going to be great games. It would not surprise me if we see both region 4 teams win the 2 vs 3 seed games tho.

With the games tonight I think region 4 is set in this order
Shiloh
RTH
GCF
Mott.... I don't see hettinger beating richardton

Question is...
I know the top three are set in region 3, but what's the order as they all beat each other.
How do these regions match up from top to bottom. Who's healthy who's not.

Ya I suppose you don't want to give scranton any credit in the co-op Hettinger Scranton, considering the two backs who combined for over 400 yards against the bulldogs last night are from scranton

I do apologize for not including Scranton, but I think everyone knows which towns play with who. It's just quick referencing on most people's part.
With that said, how many yards have those two ha against the good teams? Let's not brag up stats on kids as all of them regardless of where they are from are working their butts off and doing their best

Wasn't saying the Scranton players are better then Hettinger players, just that you should probably include Scranton when you talk about Hettinger-Scranton since kids from BOTH Hettinger and Scranton contribute to the team. And you're worried about me bragging up certain kids because all of them are working their butts off, but when you talk about this Region you seem to mention quite often that there are so many "Bad" teams in the region? Those kids from those "bad teams" are working their butts off and probably don't need to see you on here calling their teams bad or their regions cupcake regions.

Run, did SB clinch a playoff spot? You don't have any scenario where they don't make it.
