Looks like some good games these first two weeks. What games will impact the playoff picture the most?

Kindred is playing Cavalier?
Kindred 11 man offense and Cavalier 9 man offense?

I believe home team decides 11-man or 9-man

Cavalier will probably win and prove they shouldn't be playing 9-man

If they split, by having each team play their offence, Cavalier will win handily. It is too big of an advantage for an eleven man team to overcome if the teams are similarly talented.

Where is winner to chime in with info on Cavalier? I hope he's in good health, he always mentioned how old he is.

LOl...and not getting any younger

they are playing straight 11 man both sides....I know not much about Kindred...as for cav, is depth an issue in this scenario? maybe slightly.....great test for the Tornadoes....lets hope for no injuries for both teams.. :)

While this is still impressive, I will say that Kindred is not going to be very good this year. Bachmeier was the whole team last year. They also lost Moffit who was another college football player so they'll be lacking in talent.

I listened to the game on the radio and Cavaliers defense by radio announcer played very well tonight pretty much shutting down Kindred offense. Also the game was played as 11 man game which I would think put Cavalier at some disadvantage not playing 11 man for at least 3 years quite different game for kids to play and adjust to the reads and blocking assignments are different than 9 man game. Cavalier has excellent participation in football the difference in rosters were only couple of kids different and they also put extra time in off season on strengthening and I hear they had goal of 85% participation and were very close to that in results. I don't know how Kindred is as team this year and season will tell more on that but last year they were in top 4 in Eastern Region AA they have played good football in prior years.

I am surprised by the St. John/divide score. I figured with all the seniors St. John's lost they wouldn't be as good. Looking at the stats they lit it up in the air. It was over 500 passing yards

I'm even more surprised! I knew they would have talent with Vivier at QB and Hanretty and Poitra playing wherever they are needed. The question was the line. They played well against an improving and bigger Dunseith team. I didn't make the Divide game, I think DC is kind of down this year too. Without Jacobs they didn't have much last year. The true test for SJ will be when they play TGU September 19th. But they gotta worry about Kenmare and Mohall before then

NGS is missing a handful of their studs due to violations. They are out for 4 or 5 games. Season might be over for the team once they return. Too bad, considering they were the top team in the region. Feel bad for the coaches and the other kids.

A great example of why preseason polls and predictions are meaningless. You are only as good as the team you actually put on the field. However, I learned a long time ago that you never, ever count the Imperials out.

Napoleon is like most 9-man teams. Take away 3 or 4 of the best players and there is not enough depth on the team to recover. Half the starting offense are sophomores with the majority not having much varsity playing time. I have confidence in the coaching staff, and once some of these kids get some more playing time and get their nerves settled down, they will do good. Probably won't be a powerhouse this year but will be good the next couple years.

Is the beach- hettinger game score a final? Someone said they are going to finish the game next week. I don't know the rules on that as far as weather delays/restarts goes

Score of the game is 32-20, H-S ball 2 and 14ish in their own territory, start of 4th quarter.
