Does anyone have any predictions on each teams in Region 1? This year I don't see any standout team in my opinion

Anybody?

I used to have a good idea how good a few of the 9 man teams would be in R1 and R2, but outside of Cavalier I have no idea.

First post on here and I am not as informed on many of these teams as I maybe should be but I'll throw a few predictions out there. Honestly, I think this region won't be as "stacked" as it has been in recent years. Anyway,
1. Hankinson - They didn't make the playoffs last season but I believe they only lost 2 players from last years team, so obviously they return many experienced guys including their QB. His last name is Mauch, not sure on the first name. He is one of many good athletes on this team that will be back this year.
2. Napolean - This might be a little too high of a ranking for them, but Napolean has simply always put a quality team on the field. They lost a lot of good players but they do return some solid guys, including Matt Gross, and the big Beine kid.
3. Lamoure-LM - I think these guys were a lot better than a 4 seed last year. They scored 4 TDs on Cavalier, and I believe no one else scored more than 8 points, I could be wrong though. They lost their all-state Running Back and their Full Back but that's it. Anthony Olson is a stud WR and DB, Quinn Alo is a good lineman who could become great. Drew Thielges is another athletic WR, and I like their QB as well, can't remember his name. If they can put it together, they could go deep into the playoffs.

I am not quite sure of the personnel of the rest of the teams so I will just rank the final 6 teams.
4. Strasburg Zeeland
5. South Border
6. Sargent Central
7. Wyndmere/Lidgerwood
8. Richland
9. Oak Grove

Lamoure looks tough this year, should be good throughout the season.

I definitely agree with you, LaMoure is looking good. I'm really impressed with how their QB Stemen is playing a lot better in his second year of starting.
