It's a nice touch to see Michael Mack's name on the All-Region team.  Congrats to Tri-County for overcoming such tragedy to make it through a difficult season.

He was hurt for a good part of the year, I don't know if this injury had anything to do with it.

9 from Hillsoboro? I'd say other teams across the state also have 9. But All-Region is becomming a little to inclusive.

i agree. If you started you pretty much get All Region.
I don't know if I practiced more than anybody, but I sure practiced enough. I still wonder if somebody - somewhere - was practicing more than me.

maybe they should just give each team 9 All-Region trophys at the beginning of the season, save the need to waste time on meetings, voting and the politics of All-Region.

I like the latest trend in BCS football conferences, not just having a offensive, defensive and special teams player of the week. Now they have LB, DL and DB of the week.

to much positivity for this cat

I don't consider honorable mentions actual all region picks, just more of a mention that they had good years but just not good enough for all region. You also have to remember in 9-man i believe they only have four teams in each region so you don't have a lot of teams to pick from. But its just my OPINION.

got a D in math so bear with me. 45 teams in 9man by my count. 8 regions right? so on average there are a little over 5 teams/region.

how many players are on the all region teams? 18? plus HM?
