Curious about two teams from the West and what they are losing if someone can help me out. TGU and Shiloh were a bit suprising this year to people not associated with their programs I am sure. What do they lose? I know they both return alot of skill players, but what about their line. Will TGU lose some of their big kids? I know they ran spread this year some, and Iformation at other times. Will they be more apt to do spread next year because of some senior lineman?

I know that shiloh returns a lot, they weren't expected to be that competitive this year, they were a year ahead of everyones "Schedule" for them, good coach, good program. They will be tough.

I know Cavalier will miss a Spencer Robbins! Can not replace a Robbins like that. But with all the seniors in this class, and work they have helped build a good group of underclassmen. Which I am sure is true with all teams. Cavalier should be pretty good next couple of years coming.Don't know for sure about NS, but Wyndmere will be rebuilding. NRS should be alright next year too. West teams, Shiloh might be right up there again.

Schwab,
Did Shiloh see a rise in numbers this year after having a successful season? Or are they still fighting to get kids out. Curious if you knew.

When I saw them play they had a fair number of kids out, their junior high team also experienced some success so I am sure that will help with numbers in the future!

Shiloh's numbers are about average. Got a great group of kids coming back, I'd like to say right now they will be fighting for the top seed next year in the region. If they get a little bit better on D-fense, they will do just fine.

Shiloh lost their starting QB, 1-starting DL, and backup DB. They will return their two all-region running backs, who also each recorded around 100 tackles at LB. Shiloh's success will depend on how well their sophmore QB adapts to the speed of the high school game. He did well has a starting DB, PR, KR this year with over 50 tackles, 4 interceptions, punt return for a TD, and on a number of occasions was 1 tackler away from breaking more for TDs. He can throw the ball over 50 yards with touch and can rifle it into a tight window, if needed. (He is also the 2nd fastest player on the team behind Emmel. He needs to put some weight on 6'1", 145lbs.) Shiloh needs more depth and size at the O/D line. I guess we will just have to wait and see. I wouldn't be surprised if they aren't in the top 10 this year with a playoff win. In two years, I expect them to compete for a State title (IMO).

NDSU offered Illies a scholarship in June. Illies also had a scholarship offer from Minnesota State Moorhead among others.

I know NS loses a lot but they do return some good talent that either started bot sides or just defense or saw a lot of varsity in, Weston, Kvilvang, Solseth, Ril. Thomas, M. Hunt and Ric. Thomas. They will be thin in some positions but will have some capable and talented frosh, if they accept the challenge to step up, will be the difference if they make the playoffs or not!
