Cavalier- NRS won the first matchup earlier this season but cavalier shot themselves in the foot several times. If that happens again they won't win but I don't see that happening. Cavalier 20-16
TGU- don't know really anything about either team so ill take a shot in the dark and go with TGU

PATS are the difference makers this weekend. YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD...YEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSS!

R2 #2 - Cavalier (9-1) @ R2 #1 - New Rockford-Sheyenne (10-0)
Cavalier 22 NRS 20

R3 #1 - TGU (10-0) @ R4 #1 - Divide County (11-0)
TGU 28 DC 26

Cavalier -12 Still think they are the most balanced team in the state. If NRS wins the turnover battle by +3, they win.
DC -6 This one is all about ball control. Can DC's backs get into the second level of TGU's defense consistently? If so DC wins. TGU has the more balanced offense. If TGU can make 4-5 defensive stops or win the TO battle by +2 they win.

Good luck to all teams and let's all hope and pray for no injuries.

Settle down Hawk Harrelson, baseball season is now over.
But I do agree with you on the PATs. I think there will be 2 close games this coming weekend with the road teams winning both.

Cavalier 36 NRS 32

TGU 30 DC 24

For the DC fans are you at all concerned about your passing game if a team is able to slow down your rushing attack?

No.

You could ask Cavalier fans the same question about their passing game. And i am sure they have confidence in theirs also. DC and Cav are almost identical in passing.
These numbers may not be totally right but very close. Got the Cav numbers from Grand Forks herald.

Chrest 27-54 570 yds. 10 tds.

Knudson 29-48 730 yds. 11 tds.

I cant agree more with you. Tgu may be big but that may also mean they are slow so if dc can tire them out and keep them on there toes they can control the game.

Im going to pick DC over TGU just because i think DC can contol the clock more and can tire out the defence more, both teams will have to move up a game level because this will be a big game. The two undefeated teams for the semi's sounds like a lot of fun but they both have to be careful when it comes to penalties, they will make or break the game as it will be close and every year will count DC-20 TGU-14

Im going to pick Cavalier over NRS. I beleive that cavalier didnt play a good game against NRS during the regular season and have really shown what they are made of defeating wyndmere last week. NRS is a great team when it comes to offence they domonated cavalier on the line of scrimage when then played but mental errors killed cavalier and nrs took advantage of it and won the game. This will be a close game i think it will come down to who gets the most PATs. Cavalier-42 NRS-36

Have watched TGU a number of times and they have very good speed at numerous positions. Luna is not just fast but elusive. Will be fun watching these two qb's (Knudson/Luna) going head to head. Was very impressed with Knudson's running as well. In my very humble opinion, IF it comes down to a passing game TGU wins this game.

R3 #1 - TGU (10-0) @ R4 #1 - Divide County (11-0)

IMO both games are gonna be grinders, NRS and DC win by less than 3

Cav over NRS 40-26. Cav seals a close game throughout with a late TD.

DC over TGU 28-22. DC jumps out to an early lead and hangs on in a close one in the 4th qtr.

So are there any concerns going forward among DC fans or is the sentiment that you have no weaknesses?

Obviously there are always concerns. its down to the final four, any teams left are obviously very good. TGU has good size and speed, and great coaching. the winner of saturdays games will be decided by who makes the fewest mistakes, turnover and penalties ect. best of luck to both teams

This is true for all teams, I'm more interested in hearing things that are more specific to DC or any of the remaining teams.
