Does anyone know if Jacobson is back at quarterback for South Border for the playoffs or is his younger brother still at the helm. I think he was more of a passing threat while the younger brother is more of a runner. Both are excellent athletes. I think as Blake Bosch goes, so go the Mustangs.

R2 #4 - Hillsboro-Central Valley (5-3) @ R1 #1 - Wyndmere-Lidgerwood (8-1)
R1 #3 - South Border (7-2) @ R2 #2 - Cavalier (7-1)
R1 #4 - LaMoure-LM (7-2) @ R2 #1 - New Rockford-Sheyenne (8-0)
R2 #3 - Lakota-Adams-Edmore (6-2) @ R1 #2 - Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter (7-2)

R4 #4 - Shiloh Christian (7-2) @ R3 #1 - TGU (8-0)
R3 #3 - Surrey (6-2) @ R4 #2 - Central McLean (7-2)
R3 #4 - St. John (5-3) @ R4 #1 - Divide County (9-0)
R4 #3 - Beach (7-2) @ R3 #2 - North Star (7-1)

I'll take all the home teams because of some distances teams will have to travel for their games.

The Napoleon & Lakota game will be a good one. I havnt seen much of Napoleon but they put a tough nosed team on the field every year, and winning is in their tradition. Lakota has a massive line that when they play hard can move the ball on anyone (they lost to the #2 team in the state in double OT). Lakota has struggled when their line seems to disappear in games and either get fatigued, or just lose focus. If Lakota's line can play an entire game I don't see how they can lose. I'm going with Lakota here.

I see a lot of predictions for games, but whats the scouting report and some of the key match-ups for the new rockford vs LaMoure game?

There has been quite a bit posted about LaMoure LM on this site through the year, but not much about New Rockford. One thing I saw was somebody posted that NR had 3 good linebackers under the top denfensive players category. There was also another post that said NR may feel like they don't get much respect. Maybe that is because people don't know much about them due to the lack of posts?

Wouldn't count Surrey out... The biggest line in 9 man football + arguably the best running back in the state as well with Bryan Dye...

For a number 1 seed WL did not look impressive. Illies and Vasquez - great athletes. HCV had a great game. plant stop WL and it worked until Dufner and Proznik went down. I don't see WL getting past the next round. Region 2 actually had the power this year.

Good predictions panthercub. By the way, in that victory over Beach, Northstar quarterback jacob hagler threw 3 td passes, giving him 100 career Touchdown passes. Quite an accomplishment in high school football. Was wondering if anybody knew of any others that have thrown that many td passes in ND high school football. Also, what would everybody compare that number to in other sports such as total points in basketball, 1000, 1500, 2000? Just curious.

The Bismarck Tribune said in their story today on the Lakota/Napoleon game that one of the Lakota kids was ejected from the game but didn't say why. Anyone have any info on this? Is this going to have a large impact on Lakota this weekend? Not looking for gossip or dirt on the kid just wondering what happened.
